Here it is: V2.0 — the final Alpha version!

Starting from the next update, we will move into the Beta phase.

I finally feel like it’s very polished and extremely close to the gameplay I’ve always wanted.

With fouls now properly implemented, everything changes.
You’ll need to think differently during matches: every small mistake can be punished. And it’s the same for the AI — if you push them with well-timed long strides, they can make errors and late challenges.

Everything is now much more realistic. With the revamped physics, you can truly feel player strength and weight: players fall after strong collisions, aerial battles become real duels, and a player can lean on the opponent and fall if their balance isn’t right, etc.
There’s so much depth that you’ll progressively discover the full potential of this already very advanced gameplay.

The longer knock-ahead versions are highly recommended, especially the NO SCRIPT one: it’s the most natural and realistic.
This longer knock-ahead adds massive value: it creates amazing situations and makes the game build-up much more instinctive. You must time your runs correctly, or you’ll lose the ball very quickly — just like real football.

👉 Players who don’t use this version will, in my opinion, miss out on a much deeper gameplay experience.
However, due to requests, I still made a shorter knock-ahead version available.

⚠️ It is very important to enable analog sprinting / acceleration in the game settings when using the longer knock-ahead: it allows you to control your player’s run with much more precision.

Take some time to get used to this gameplay — building actions is incredibly satisfying.
Every movement, every shot, every pass has been carefully tuned to deliver true realism and simulation.

We now move into the Beta phase for upcoming versions — let’s keep improving it together.

- Alongside the move to TU5, I took the opportunity to fix one last issue with the nets—their physics and appearance weren’t fully realistic. This has now been corrected and improved.
- Added the Extreme version of LOD Graphics.

⚠️ The goal of my Broadcast TV Camera mod is to provide maximum freedom (up/down, zoom in/out) in every stadium.
Depending on the stadium, the camera may sometimes end up completely outside the stadium—just adjust it in the settings.
I don’t plan to work on this mod further for now—it already does what I wanted. I’d rather focus my time on the gameplay mod
The camera mod has been separated from the gameplay mod so everyone can use other camera mods alongside my gameplay, if they want
We’ll see later if I decide to tweak it further.

The game cannot be started from the tool
Make sure you are launching the game correctly from FMT.


  • First, open FMT.ModManager.
  • Import my mod into it.
  • Then press Launch from inside FMT.

⚠️ Also check that your game path is set correctly in the tool and that your EA App/Steam/Origin is closed before launching.


Run FMT as administrator.

Do not launch the Live Editor at the same time as FMT.
Make sure to reinstall a clean version of your game.
Then start the game through FMT Mod Manager.

It’s not necessary to be offline on the EA app.
You can load the mod either through FTM Mod Manager or directly with FTM, it’s the same.
 
I think this is the reason why the game cannot start

Hello everyone,


This mod transforms EAFC 26’s gameplay to make it much more realistic, heavy, and immersive:
  • Realistic match tempo
    The overall pace is slowed down, no more arcade flow: build-up phases look and feel like a real TV broadcasted match.
  • 🏃 Double player inertia
    Every sprint, stop, and change of direction takes time and space. Zig-zag unrealistic moves are gone, movements feel more physical.
  • 🎯 Non-assisted passing
    Passes are no longer “on rails”: their success depends on your orientation, power, and timing. Anticipation and accuracy are key.
  • 🥅 Slower passes and shots
    The ball moves more slowly, shots are less powerful by default. Positioning and timing matter more, creating more varied and believable phases of play.
  • 🏐 Overhauled ball physics
    The ball feels heavier and freer: it no longer sticks to the feet, rebounds are natural, and speed naturally dies on the pitch as in real life.
  • 💥 More physical contacts and duels
    Tackles and collisions lead to more loss of balance, technical mistakes, and unpredictable ball bounces, making duels more authentic.

👉 This mod is designed to be played in “Authentic Gameplay” and delivers a much more lifelike experience than the default game.

Can you tell me the preconditions or steps? I tried everything, but I still got an error and the game didn’t start.
Don’t have the game downloaded on your c drive. Game has to be downloaded anywhere else in your pc and just launch straight from FMT.

It is already not installed on the C: drive, but I still cannot open the game from the tool 🤷🏻‍♂️

all i did was select fc26 on the left, load the mod using +add, then press compile and launch. that was it. FC is downloaded on my d drive
 
@iljuventino Thanks for such a early release. I will try it now and leave feedback than. I had sometimes similar issues recently to launch the Game with the tool. But I imported for testing purposes yesterday some legacy files like TV Logos and scoreboards made a mod and the FMT launches with mods applied. Needs sometimes trying and of course we need to repair the game files through EA APP after adding new mods or/and launching with other tools like Live Editor. When nothing help repair your Games, Guys. It´s the easiest way to kinda reset the game Folder. It´s currently a very WIP by @Paul-v but it´s a first way to have modded Game. It will for sure easier to launch mods in the next weeks but improving the tool needs much time. We can only be patient.
I try now to launch the mod by myself and report back later. :-)
 
It's not allowed to have it installed on my C:\ drive???? Why?
May be a permission issue when currently installed on the c drive. Just early stages with modding, not everything works as a full and complete as in a few weeks hopefully. Just a option for now and yet. If things not working with the mod just consider copy the game on your d drive a.e. It´s so stated on Paul´ßs discord server for FMT. You can join if you wanna have a deeper explanation about the state of the tool after just yesterday the official FC 26 release was made.
