Surely the Mod Manager or something in between is failing. When I came to the office, LiveEditor, which allows you to generate a new SDK, hadn't been released yet.

It's a good idea for everyone to make a complete copy of the game folder and keep it there when mod inheritance is not transitive between updates. It takes up a few gigabytes, but hey, it's better than nothing.

Especially if they are effectively dependent on a particular mod.

it's not mod manager, i tried withouth it, game works in menus , everything good , but when i go into match crash to desktop . i tried tu 5 on it's on it works. it not my first time rolling back updates but guess somethings off , i don't have patience with this game anymore i just uninstalled it i'll wait for tu5 mods updates.

btw. i tried all the gameplay mods currently available , paid or unpaid and i have to say only this one is close to what i 'm looking for in football game. i played the hole season with man utd finished 5 every loss was fair , and every match was great. then i tried created club in leauge two, it's even better every in is deserved , and there are misses, ai mistakes, my mistakes, great gameplay overall. thank you

Okay, you're tired. Look, I know the Rollback tool isn't 100% accurate. I checked it with EAFC25.

This year things are a little messier. Not all tools are effective on their own when it comes to an EAFC update.

The anti-cheat brought a pretty big problem. I guess that ModManger, when used with TU5 and then going back to TU4, may have left some junk around. Pure conjecture.

it wasn't nothing against you , just it's constantly something with this game :D. i was using rollback tool on 25 and it worked flawlessly, i will see what happens when i install fresh game , could i revert it to tu 4 .

A little off-topic, with OT's permission.

All I can say about the rollback tool is that it's not 100% accurate.

A few months ago, it became fashionable to go back to the TU version of EAFC25 TU1 or TU2, where the gameplay was much better. (Note: After TU10, EA significantly reduced the physics of the jerseys. Really significantly. Before, the physics were too much).

Getting back to the point.

I usually have an SDD with the complete EAFC folder for each TUx. A lot of times I don't feel like connecting the disk and making a complete copy of the folder, so I use the RB tool.

Anyway, I wanted to try the TU2 gameplay using the RB tool, and PAM, but the physics remain just as toned down; it doesn't go back to how it was before. It doesn't matter if you clear the VGA cache, Temps, or whatever.

I'm pretty empirical with these things. I cleaned everything. I copied the entire folder from my external game drive with the “original” TU2, and TARAAAN! The physics were back, super exaggerated as they were.

I personally always make a 23gb x how many Rars is required, for all games these days, and where its a good proven version of a game, I back up these sometimes 4 or 5 x 23gb chunks of a backup to BD-R disks...........perm back up if u then duplicate them disks each time. So I do laugh when hearing ppl fret abour having to '"lose TU4" etc etc, because u keep that version IF u know how to archive it via Rar to disks

EA App has a wonderful switch to prevent that, which should be turned off forever and ever.
Believe it or not, even though this switch is disabled on my end, EA arbitrarily updated my FC 25 automatically not once, but twice! Rolled it back on the first time, on the second time I was OFFLINE on the EA app but saw a weird progress bar on the windows taskbar icon and went online to check if it was happening again... and oh yes it was. Luckily, I was able to cancel the damn update, this pissed me off very much. Stupid company

As usual, this place is turning into a FIFA Mod Manager support desk; it’s disheartening and frustrating to keep repeating the same things. Asking a question once is fine… but dedicating two pages right after yesterday’s release of my mod—which almost went unnoticed—isn’t very fair.

I announced yesterday that URG V2.0 would release on TU4 because it was ready, and given EA’s major gameplay changes, it wasn’t possible to verify the repercussions within just a few hours.

V2.0 on TU5 is planned for today

Thank you so much! The No Script version is truly the best. In future updates, I’m considering dropping the Standard version—there’s no point playing with a watered-down build

V2.0 is definitely your best work yet, I enjoyed it very much @iljuventino

You got the game speed on point, it's realistic but players don't feel sluggish to control, fast players can beat their markers, we actually got fouls and bookings now (and you fixed fouls a little bit faster than EA did lol)

I had some pretty cool organic moments on the 3 matches I played. I guess the future of the mod now is trying to achieve even more ball freedom and working on players positioning: making the defense line positioning less rigid for example would be a very cool thing to see. Great job bro, thank you for this. I will even make a backup of TU4 just so I can come back to this version

I usually have an SDD with the complete EAFC folder for each TUx

@nicetoknowyou thank you for the idea!

So i managed to revert to tu 4 , just to try the new gp mod. Playing in league one with cardiff . i 've played with no script longer sprint version as recommended. The feeling is awesome, everything is fluid , speed is just right, ai plays good, and i had couple of re cards from ai, i forgot i turned refree strictness to strict. I had the best game against qpr in carabao cup. they got red card in third minute, and then scored from 20-25 m , my goalkeeper managed to touch it but the ball went behind. The great thing is qpr didn't park the bus after they scored they continued to attack , and playing agressive. i think that is how it should be, they.re bigger team. There are no ping pong passing , ai looks almost inteligent. the only thing is maybe to work on positioning in defence, they had couple bad positioned players, but then again it's lower leauge football so i just accept it as realistic. great job, this is the best gameplay in years for fifa. thank you very much

First of all, thanks a lot for this fantastic MOD. The gameplay is very good but the big problem is the level refree strictness and that is very annoying. A little touch can make the refree to show you a yellow card and every tackle can make you to receive a red card and this is very bad and it isn't according to real football. So, I suggest you to lower the level of refree strictness.

Thanks for the feedback. Regarding fouls, it depends: if you still defend the old way with lots of standing tackles out of habit, you’ll indeed get many more fouls and bookings. You really need to relearn the timing of every challenge with this mod.
Here, it’s all about thinking before you act—whether it’s the knock-ahead while sprinting or your defensive interventions.

I’ll wait for more feedback on fouls before making any changes.

The pace is fantastic, as are the ball-to-foot animations. But I often get the feeling that when I don't have the ball, my player runs in place for a moment, as if running on oil, and then slowly takes off, while the opponent passes me with the ball.

really loving it but i do think fouls need a tweak, im getting given free kicks for their players just getting close to mine and thats with ref set to very lenient

No, he isn’t running in place. I made this choice on purpose for the overall pacing: you can feel the start of the run through the controller, the player’s weight and momentum, and a progressive—rather than instant—acceleration. Taken together, these elements produce a very satisfying rhythm, with each move and dribble aligning for overall fluidity.

I think you understand the "running in place" thing: move your legs as if you were running A LOT, but go slowly.

So if a player with 70 pace passes me WITH THE BALL, I have to wait for my 75 pace player WITHOUT THE BALL to warm up before interacting? Okay. Design decision.
