GAMEPLAY V2

Compared to V1:
  • Slower overall pace: calmer build-up, more gradual sprints and stops.
  • Smoother player movement: softer pass/first-touch animations, reduced re-target “snaps,” sprint boosts further toned down.
  • Improved ball physics: increased mass/inertia with rebalanced grip/rolling—ground passes are slower yet travel further, rebounds are more damped, and close control is less “sticky.”

I’m genuinely surprised by how good the gameplay feels—it’s a pure joy to build attacks.

I must hurry up with my feedback because your v2 is released. :DD
For a first release it was very good what I saw and played with the v.1. Game speed was slower but not too slow so that the game become boring. I played 4 matches in 2 different weather conditions. What I noted when I enable weather is the game becomes really slow because of obviously the water through rain. So I deleted this Video I recorded because when I play on dry ground than the Gp flow was pretty natural. Also the ball roll friction and the passing speed when I pass the ball with a groundpass to a teammate feels more settled than in default. Player movement is also very good edited for an first release. I remember my first games 1 week ago where the Players are having those Power turns and that all with the ball on her feets.

For the first release I can´t find for now bigger downers. Of course testing the v.2 soon. Room for improvements is always given.

I leave a Video but with worse quality. Idk why it looks so colored over saturated after YouTube have it rendered? Sorry for that but I want nevertheless leave some match footage. Btw. @iljuventino I successfully launched FMT with your mod and Live Editor. A new LE Version was released this afternoon fixing some crashes from the first Version.

Btw 2) FMT mod loader starts without any error messages with your mods and loaded into game. I just forgot to switch in game to the broadcast camera. But I tested the cam afterwards and they work as intendent.


 
Does anyone else have the second half running at like 10 fps? First half is fine, but the second is unplayable.

Broadcast and gameplay mods are a breath of fresh air btw

I tested v2 and here is my feedback:

Positives:

1. The match tempo feels much more realistic.

2. Shots are no longer too fast, and their number has noticeably decreased.

3. Overall gameplay is really enjoyable – great work!


Areas for improvement:

1. Goalkeepers should be stronger in saving shots.

2. Shooting accuracy should be reduced a bit.

3. The game speed could be slowed down a little more .

4. Defensive pressure and effectiveness of defenders should be improved.

where did you get BT sport 1hd live tv logo ?
 
I tried many different slider settings, but I found this mod to be very well-balanced and excellent. I know gameplay can be quite subjective, depending on personal preference, but for users like me who play with assist features, it offered a very dynamic and enjoyable soccer experience. Regarding speed, I prefer V1, so I would be happy if there were two versions available.
 
i cant launch ea fc 26 anymore, some anti-cheat error since trying the mod ....
Try deleting all folders/files named "FMT" in the game directory, restart your PC, and launch the game again via FMT.
If that doesn’t work, reinstall the game and it should be fine.

The mod is designed and built on the Authentic Mod as its base, so I recommend keeping the Authentic Mod enabled in the game settings to get the best experience.

I haven’t tested the mod with rain/snow weather, sorry. I always play with weather effects disabled in the game menu.
I might look into that later, but for now I’m focusing on making the gameplay as good as possible.

Great work! I've played a few games, and this gameplay offers a much better experience than the already good authentic gameplay.
Unfortunately, I've noticed that there's still the issue of player stamina, which doesn't decrease enough throughout an entire match, and the low number of fouls, even though the situation is much better than the authentic gameplay.
Is there anything that could be done to improve these aspects?
 
Feel free to share your feedback on the gameplay mod, it will help its improvement.
The build up is much better, for a start. On vanilla gameplay, with reduced pass speed, the ball feels like a rock. But with your mod, the ball is balanced between slower speed and traveling further. Passing is actually enjoyable. AI also miscued passes which was very nice.

I wonder if the lob passes can be tweaked. Short distance dinks feel very weak and go straight up then drop down, while longer distance crosses float for ages

It's a very good base overall, much appreciated

  • Shooting has been greatly improved: no more arcade “laser shots.” Every strike depends on timing, balance, and player quality.
  • Finesse shots are more believable: more curve, less power, closer to the real-life placed shots you see on TV.
  • Headers have been adjusted to feel more natural and balanced.

  • Goalkeepers now react in a much more natural and realistic way.
  • Saves look more fluid, more varied, and better adapted to the power and trajectory of the shot.

Oh you play with the Dada team ! You're maybe french too but I will respect the rules and speak in english even if it's not very good ^^'

First you're gameplay it's pretty good ! But I have some requests if it's possible :
1- Less shot accuracy specialy for the player (i'm not in assistance on but in precision)
2- I play in the old style defencing, like fifa 11, do you think it's possible to buff that ? To be more closer that fifa 11 in the tackling and fouls committed ?

where did you get BT sport 1hd live tv logo ?
You can either use the Live Editor "Legacy" structure for FC 26 which is located on our c-drives, Mate. You can see it on the screenshots below. Once LE is launched it builds the structure for easy modifiying legacy structure and put the particular Files directly on the folders and the Game with LE launched are reading your edits in game. No fbmod or later fifamod necessary. works only for Legacy files, though.
For the BT 1 TV Logo you need just to put an big file named overlay_6105.big inside the folders you see on the Screenshots. For Bundesliga it´s overlay_7105.big and for generic TV Logo it´s overlay_9105.big. I have many files available in the folder so I need only renaming them whenever I wanna have an other Logo in game. It works on top without exiting the Game complete. During a match or before a match it´s possible to rename the files and it shows directly in the next Match interruption.
You can also edit the files directly with FMT Editor in Legacy structure, but than you can´t switch the Logos like with Live Editor. It´s like a little TV Logo Switcher with LE.

I couldn´t test yesterday v2. I will now continue with v3. Or did you recommend for comparision to play v2 first?

I am super glad that FMT works with no big issues till now when launching your mod! Did you try modifying other sections like Turf textures a.e.
I wanna now test to import some TV Logos directly in FMT so when I am not using LE than it would be also nice to have Logos in game.
I am just asking because with your other mods you have already touched more files so you may have test more?!

I know in the LOD Editor section there is another file structure where LOD´s are managed by the Game. These can be tweaked too. I just saw in files section of FMT Mod Launcher you have modified the same or is it another section? I am speaaking from the LOD´s for Players. Yeah, called PlayerLOD or similar in FMT. But maybe it´s the same section, I will later look more accurate in FMT Editor for the name of this LOD section.

No, I’m focusing only on the gameplay part. The only other files that seemed important to modify quickly were the LOD, to get better graphics, and the Broadcasting camera, which provides immersion.
As for the LOD, I increased all the parameters. I think it’s fine for now—I haven’t tested the limits yet, since setting it too high makes the PC run hot. I’ll look into that later.


For the other mods, I’ll deal with them later.


I recommend jumping straight to V3, which is the closest to what I wanted to achieve.


Right now, I’m working on the issue of the lack of fouls and refining the gameplay as much as possible.


Another version should be released very soon.
