I don't like this thing that you can't skip the man and then I don't see errors too few the CPU is perfect too perfect the heaviness is like pes beautiful Last thing non-existent fouls I noticed that my player with speed 89 can't get away to a defender with speed 60

Yep, fouls are not happening to me (me doing alot of them :PP )
But it's strange that you, pioss, experience this speed issue - as I said before, for me it's just the other way round. I can run away like hell with fast players and no-one is able to get me :THINK:

How strange but do you play with competitive gameplay? Am I doing something wrong? 🤔
 
Hello my friend! Thanks for all the work u put in here!

I tried the Extra Lod mod but didnt see any difference on the players graphichs ingame in far cameras or telebroadcast for instance (i thought we would have the hair styles full renderized for exemple, but still when u look cucurela he has very low quality hair in gameplay for ex), would u be able to make a version with extra high LOD? for exemple in the tactical camera the players in the higher part of the screen get blocky with very low LOD, i would really like to have them at full LOD like the players in the bottom (near) part of the screen... I tried to research and make a mod myself but coudnt find any instructions to which file to mod to fix this...

Sorry, but I just asked to see how I could try your mod. There was nothing else. Although I'm a longtime italian modder (since FIFA 17), and in my day, mods were made and there were only free programs. I take note and will not say anything more about this topic.

What saddens me the most is that I haven’t received any constructive feedback. I’d really like people to share the positives, the negatives, and their gameplay experiences…
Instead, I only get installation requests that clutter up this thread.
I'll give you some constructive feedback with my humble opinion. I've played four games and the gameplay is really great. The areas I think need improvement are:
1) There are no fouls.
2) Passing and switching are always precise; the error rate should be increased a bit.
3) I don't know if this is possible, but players like Yamal should challenge you one-on-one.

For the rest, congratulations.

About passing, I’m surprised, because you can clearly feel the ball no longer sticks to the foot on reception and there’s no more auto-redirection that locks the receiver too early. It really gives a sense of freedom.
You’re playing on semi-manual, right?
In upcoming updates, I’ll see if I can remove a bit more assistance, but “semi” has to stay “semi,” otherwise we’re basically on full manual…


Regarding fouls, I know — I’m working on it ;) It’s more complicated than it seems.
As for individuality, I haven’t really focused on that yet — it didn’t stand out to me — but I’ll check. ;)

I think you’re currently on full assistance—that’s the default setting!
Set all assists to semi-manual; you’ll see, it feels completely different ;)

I recommend keeping all AI tactical sliders at 50. Since we’re still in Alpha, I may change AI behavior from one build to the next—this will actually be one of the major changes in the upcoming update, which is coming very soon.
If you want to tweak your sliders, go ahead, but on my side the AI is tuned around a 50 baseline across the board. Your call.

so i just go to ai section , and under custom i put everything at 50 ? thank you for the fast reply
 
Sure, playing authentic, no doubt.
Just in my last game i just sprinted away with my player (speed around 80) and the defender (CPU) had no chance of getting me.
this is great to read because one of the things that annoy me the most on newer fifa games are pacey attackers getting caught easily by slow defenders, it's almost like the cpu defenders get a pace boost out of nowhere just to make the game more difficult. Of course we want difficulty in the game, but not that forced and unfair difficulty, that makes you feel you're getting robbed... if only EA could make a cpu that's both fair and difficult... right now with vanilla it feels easy and unfair at the same time lol
 
I totally get why iljuventino’s upset. Honestly, this thread has just felt kind of tense and negative for a while — too many bad vibes going around lately. I’ve been enjoying his mod for a long time, and I genuinely think it deserves more credit.


I’ve paid for plenty of gameplay mods in past FIFA/FC editions (and used a bunch of free ones too), and for this year’s game, I’ve tried all sorts of sliders and other mods — not just iljuventino’s. (Paul√’s mod, for example, was really challenging and impressive.)


Some modders might think it’s just placebo, or that I don’t really know what I’m talking about, but I’ve spent a good amount of time playing. And from that experience, I can honestly say his gameplay mod is simply fun. Maybe the experience feels different because I’m not playing on full manual/FUMA, but either way, that’s something worth appreciating.


At the very least, my thoughts from when I first posted here haven’t changed — even after all the version updates, I’m still really enjoying it.


Also, from what I’ve heard, FMM is planned to be released for free sometime soon. If you really want access right now, you’ll have to pay for it — otherwise, just be patient and wait. Doing a bit of research on your own also helps.


And honestly, the version that works with FMT is already more than enough to enjoy.

Sorry, not compatible with FMT for now; I only work with FMM.
Either subscribe to Fifer’s Patreon to get the FIFA Mod Manager beta, or wait a few days—they’ll make it available for free, as they do every year.

No problem. I saw that in the members post and wondered if I missed something.

I understood the mod to be fmm only.

I have a strange feeling and I wanted to ask if it MAY BE that the GP stops working ingame after a while??
Could it be or is it impossible?
I played a couple of games this evening and after a couple of matches the game felt very different, quite vanilla.
Everything i like about the GP was gone: The speed when accelerating was almost instantly there, the passes were very fast, CPU did not make any distant shots and i even witnessed 2 fould by the CPU (yellow cards).
Is it just i get used to the changed feeling after a certain amount of time?

Maybe it could have something to do with this:
In my manager career i skipped some games by simulating them (fast).
I don't know exactly, but i had the feeling that after that the game returned to vanilla.

I need to do some more exploration about that. But not today anymore and "unfortunately" not within the upcoming week as i will be on vacation (damn! :SHOCK::P)
I'm really curious about your new version after 1 week of my abstinence :)

I have felt this with Paul's mod.
My conclusion was that it wasn't the mod, but just how ridiculously unstable the base game is...
