FC 26 - ULTRA REALISTIC GAMEPLAY MAJOR UPDATE 1.7 !!! Out Now

As I only ever watch AI vs AI I can safely say that even if he had used the wrong group, the animation of players like Yamal and Vini Jr for AI players every time I switched to v5 Beta 4, was like night and day to the pathetic default EA Sports frantic jiggy jaggy animations that ALL modders especially Anth in recent years, has managed to change to lifelike smooth locomotion, and careful movements of the legs, transforming the game to a watcher like me.

So it is a bit crazy to maybe hear, that even having used the "wrong group", it most certainly was changing the animation/locomotions and was always reverting back to horrid movements every time i went back to Authentic vanilla. At no stage was I "testing Competitive" because i know what Iljuventinos mod does to that mode, it makes all AI players stand still more or less.
According to my observation, his mod delivers noticeably smoother movement animations and passing animations compared to the vanilla. Though it could also be attributed to changes from official updates.
 
How do I get this? I downloaded the file from pg 1 and load with FMT. But it do not look the same.
its the same, but it depends on the stadium height id assigned by EA. so in most prem stadiums, you can play around with height and zoom and itll look great (typically height 9 zoom 9) but its different for all stadiums. The italian stadiums and the Etihad, as well as most french stadiums, struggle with the zoom as theres no in between for how close and how far you can control the camera so some of them look super super far
 


I'm not too concerned with the technicalities of the mod, but I definitely feel the difference and thats enough to make me happy to endorse it. I love how I can ramp up the play or slow down when i want to and in general, the pacing feels a lot more realistic. Been having tons of fun with this latest gp version and I hope theres more to come! Thank you!

Player movement has become ultra complete and fluid; it now feels like a real match, with the pace and speed of an actual game. This may not appeal to everyone, since the arcade side is completely gone we’re talking about true simulation.

The FIFA Mod Manager isn’t out yet, but it’s imminent.

ULTRA REALISTIC GAMEPLAY should be ready by tomorrow at the latest (Wednesday, October 8), depending on the FIFA Mod Manager’s release.

As for a version on Paul V’s FMT, that may come later.

I’ll keep you posted as things progress no worries!

Yeah I got to the first goal , watched the number 5 fall asleep and ignore the runner and then stopped watching. Also turned down the volume as the commentary was making my ears bleed. No disrespect to the modder , maybe that hasn't been worked on.

This is definitely not my gameplay.

The things that really bother me about the gameplay in this game compared to the last fifa i played (24) is that there is too much space between lines, i mean strikers almost never defend in your own half unless you set them to very specific roles, midfielders dont help the defend as they should when in a low block, and full backs (even in ofensive wingback role) dont attack the space unless the closes player to them has the ball, wich makes imposible to switch play with a long ball from one side to the other and for me ruined the sistems with 3 center back because if the wing backs are midifielders yeah they will atack the space, but they wont defend as wingbacks when in a low blockI
dont know if some of this is can be fixed with a mod, meanwhile im using a slider that sets line lengh to one

Don’t worry, I’m a very meticulous person.
I’ll analyze everything in detail, but one thing’s for sure — the AI will be very intelligent.
 
We would also like AI to make mistakes in the penalty area. For me, it's very important, it's like in real football, there are mistakes. Thank you.

No more robotic AI running and shooting like headless chickens.
There will be a real sense of reflection and slight delay in every decision — just like in real life.
 
I had written that players don't press and all, but then I realized that you say you play in Amateur... Would you mind to put a whole match in World Class difficulty? To see a real match pace.

Also, for what I've seen a bit in regard to the behaviour of the strikers, they should help more the midfield and retreat back to a low block, trying to press a bit more the enemies midfielders once the ball has pass them. I do not say that they have to necessary sprint towards the ball once it has passed them, but they should definitely jog a bit, or even walk towards the center instead of staying floating up in the pitch.

This is a usual behaviour since old FIFA's and if you could correct this positioning, you'd be doing an amazing work.

In that sense, you've made a great work. I only hope you do just as good when you work on tactics, AI, etc. You and @amartingil should defenitely work together, since I feel you're looking for something similar, maybe in his case a bit more arcadish, but essentially the same, a more natural feel. Probably you can help each other really good.

Even if some people don’t like it, my goal isn’t to reach the largest audience, but to make this game feel like a real football match on TV.
