TrueFoot Animation Overhaul - Core Edition

Hi all. This is the free Core Edition of TrueFoot Animation Overhaul for FC 26.

This is a different kind of FC 26 mod. It does not change sliders, gameplay values or add new animation files. It focuses on the game's own animation selection, using animations already present in FC 26 and letting selected motions appear in more natural gameplay situations.

Small note: this mod is still in an early stage and I am continuing to improve it in the background, especially the animation context and selection balance. It takes a lot of time and testing to get right, so thank you for your patience and feedback.

Core Edition is the stable, field-tested shot core of the mod. It focuses on finishing, physical shot moments, volleys, special shots and headers.

What it changes
  • More varied finishing - selected shot animations can appear in a wider range of natural gameplay situations.
  • Physical shot moments - off-balance, momentum-based and physical finishing motions can show up when the context fits.
  • Volleys and special shots - more variety in first-time and unusual shooting situations.
  • Headers - more varied jumping, stretching and pressured header motions.
  • Less repetition - repeated match actions should feel less identical without turning every action into a trick animation.

Important note
No new animation files are added.

This mod redistributes selected animations already present in FC 26. It does not add brand-new mocap, and it does not claim to unlock every hidden animation in the game. The goal is controlled contextual variety: more motion, but still natural.

Core Edition vs Full Expansion
This is the free Core Edition.

The Supporter Full Expansion is the early-access complete version of the mod. It includes the expanded animation set, with additional pass variety, outside-foot pass layers, HyperMotion/KC layers and physical-pass animation expansion.

Core Edition will stay free and stable. Full Expansion gives supporters earlier access to the wider animation work while it continues to grow through testing.

Installation
  1. Install FIFA Mod Manager.
  2. Import the .fifamod file.
  3. Apply.
  4. Launch FC 26 offline.

No in-game settings required.

Compatibility
Use only one Animation Overhaul edition at a time. Do not install Core Edition and Full Expansion together.

Feedback is welcome. If an animation appears too often, feels wrong, or if you catch a good moment, post a clip. This mod is built through testing and community feedback.

I have been a massive PES player throughout the years, starting with PES 2016. Me and my friend played PES2021 over 2000 hours.

Then we switched to FC 25 with Anth's mods. And now we got stuck on FC26 with the TrueFoot gameplay.

Anyway, what I wanted to tell is that this animation mod brings back hard PES memories. The animations have always been better in PES. But the other day, when i was playing FC26 with this mod here, my son (11) stopped beside me and was quite baffled: He asked, why the hell i'm playing PES again?!
The game seemed to look and feel like PES.
And it really does. I think there is no more comment needed.
Get the TrueFoot gameplay and the full animation add-on and you'll be happy.

haha the son bit got me, thats the best kind of feedback. one thing PES always did well was letting even generic players pull off signature animations. it steps away from the strict player id idea a little, but it adds so much variety and gets you away from seeing the same few animations year after year. thats kind of what i was going for with the add-on, spreading that range wider across everyone.
