eFootball (All Platforms)

For me there is zero immersion in playing a game like FC 26 with its gameplay, and it is the only alternative.
Well that is where we differ: efootball can have the best football gameplay that ever was created: as long as I can't take my favourite team, win multiple titles and leagues with it, build up youth players, do transfers, rethink my long term team etc. I have 0 interest in playing it because to me just playing kick off is boring and I don't care for Online modes.

And as long as Konami cares 0 about the player base that once made them successful and gets licenses just to half assed implement them, I see no reason to support efootball.

I think there's only a few including me who thinks pes 21 gameplay modded is miles better than Efootball.
That's exactly correct.

I'm surprised people think efootball2026 is so bad. I understand people are toe-curlingly pissed off about the modes etc., but gameplay wise, I think it's the best it's ever been. Still the best representation of football we have in a videogame, to date. Every update for the last year or so has been positive, making the gameplay even better, and increasing animations etc. I'm currently downloading the new update which just hit steam, so that'll be interesting - something I still look forward to. Still hoping that there is a bigger improvement over graphics, turf etc. + more offline modes/content.

Because it's very simple - script-powered actions against nature of real true soccer.
I have many recorded moments, where ball moves on completely weird trajectory, in eFootball - there's no any physics, it's pre-determined scripted movings of ball, clearly seen by eyes if you want to note this.

P.S. May be your message was written for fun or whatever, I don't know exactly.
But honestly - it's very strange to call eFootball a representative soccer game with good stuff inside.
Nothing private or insulting, but for me it's strange ...

In terms of content and database, they got the biggest amount of clubs i saw in a football game, Nations + Clubs even with Bundesliga.
And correct me if i'm wrong but i remember them having /licensed or not/ the more stadiums they never have.
Nah, EA FC 26 has a lot more club teams.

In terms of stadiums, the game has around 31 stadiums right now, which is a lot less than in previous PES games:

Don't worry bro, that aussiepesguy has been writing the same thing in this topic for 3 years now.
It has become stockholm syndrome for some. If you starve them, they will jump for even the smallest dangling carrot.

No offence to anyone, but the writing was on the wall 3 years ago.
Many people voiced their concerns, only to be met with ridicule & gaslighting.
We told you it was a mobile game, we told you they are going to focus on cards..
"stop being negative!" "you people will complain about anything!" "go touch grass!"

Whole package wise, I still think pes2021 is the best in the series... still playing it today with Holland's latest GP patch, and oh my, is it still brilliant game. Holland's GP basically puts the gameplay, particularly variations with animations, cpu attack, cpu mistakes etc. on steroids. There is stuff i'm seeing in this game, today, which I never saw over the last 5 years playing the vanilla version. So, with the modes, mods etc, Im still playing this regularly.
But... when I play exhibition games on efootball2026, there are things in the gameplay that just make it more realistic and less on rails than pes2021. Player dribbling, responsiveness, ball physics (particularly in terms of weight and speed through the air) is just more realistic. Yeah Konami have taken the piss, but they have produced brilliant gameplay - which is the most important aspect of a football game. Anyways each to their own. Some people like Trump, some don't lol. Will never convince anybody to believe or like anything.
This is a very simplified view. In my opinion the most important thing should be that we as Customers and Fans get treated with respect. And we should not just accept everything, only because there are only so few optional. Gameplay wise PES 21 is probably still on par. So why not rather play that Game?

Konami could have been honest from the start about going free2play. But, again, They made money with PES21 because thanks to Konamis lies, many thought, there will be a REAL Next Gen Game. I doubt that many people would have bought a Game, that is very similar to PES 20, if they would have known Konamis Plans.

Usually I would say, that you can do whatever you want with your own Money and time. But to be honest this uncritical way of thinking (and the gameplay is not even as good as you claim) is bad for all of us. And I am Talking about anyone, who buys EA FC, NBA 2k etc. every year.
