eFootball (All Platforms)

Ive started on manual yesterday, quite enjoying it, apart from through ball, it always seems extremely overhit, any ideas?

At least in PES the through ball was never really manual to begin with on the manual setting. Don't know if that helps at all though.

Cheers mate, I can get direction ok, but the pass is like ive held the button down for a couple of seconds and it just flies out of play.

I had written it in unsuspected times that we would get to pokemon soon.... come on we're almost there!

Me, being from the few humans around the world that are/were deep into both PES and Yu-Gi-Oh, i can only understand both sides.

Whoever took this weird/cringe/strange decision for this crossover , should be at least desperate, and ignores a very important fact of the demographics of both "communities".

Despite both IPs are under KONAMI and despite KONAMI tries to kill both franchises with every inch of their heart, there was an abyss separating both communities, meaning that:

On the one hand Yu-Gi-Oh players had almost zero clue about PES/efootball and the irl sport of football.

And on the other hand, PES or efootball players have almost zero clue about Yu-Gi-Oh, except for the stereotypes.

So it's at least questionable decision. It's like making a conference Star Wars X WRC, or TOLKIEN fans x Rapid Vienna fans.

Completely pointless attempt of milking.

Remember all the talk about ML coming in '24, '25? I wonder where are they are saying now? Do you hear that? SILENCE. All the talk of Coinami making ML is dead. It ain't coming, and it'll never will.

If this yu-gi-oh shit doesn't tell you that Coinami doesn't give one iota about making a proper football game, then I don't know what else to tell you.

The biggest mistake many people make is believing that eFootball is PES.
Think of eFootball as that game you only play for an hour and then close it. Many casual users see it that way. If you want a more complete game, there's EA FC.
Konami knows this, which is why they don't mind combining YGH with EF, because they know that casual users don't care if it works. Look, I too would like them to add more customization, like changing the audience to military personnel from MGS, or an anime filter. There you have where to get "Fortnite"-style collaborations, which is where EA is weak. In short, the time when companies loved quality is dead. Now it's all about making money with little investment. It's a real shame.

They don't help themselves with all the ISS/PES anniversary crap

I can definitely see Efootball doing a collab with MGS. Neymar dressed as Big Boss with his iconic eye patch. Messi will play the role of Ocelot. Fuck me....

He'll sound like some grizzled old man with the expression "'kept you waiting, huh" dubbed over in Japanese. Jesus Christ, this fucking company lol.

Certainly, not a new thought.

I think that developers can call it eWeirdBall and we have no more issues with this game, because "it's - what's declared as is" ...
Because they used all the existing developments in psychology to skillfully manipulate the emotions of players in order to promote the purchase of soccer player cards.
P.S At least, honestly. But, wait, name is e(uro)Football, isn't it ?

it s really a shame what this game has become into, after my enjoyment of the franchise since ISS pro 2002 on the ps1, and then pes 3-4-5-6 on pc, it s a shame that this game has become really a chore of repetitiveness and automated shooting and ai which is not original, after what we had brilliant games 15 or 20 years ago...

Games, made for PS2 "have more soul of soccer inside", then eWeirdBall.

EAFC has everything I want except the gameplay, wasted my money on 24 and not gonna give them a single additional penny

Well I actually saw a advertising board and it said "eFootball Play Weird" which is a ridiculous tagline for a football game

Some people say that this happens because now kits are added in live updates, so their textures are in less resolution and get replaced by higher quality textures in numbered updates

That's lame excuses, tbh. It's not like they save hundred of GBs by doing that.
