eFootball (All Platforms)

The older football kids who played football for FC Barcelona under the abbreviation MSN had a lot of fun with e-football.

The real announcement of the day was Silent Hil 1 being developed.

does anyone have the list of removed players ? I have a bunch of "unavailable" but don't know who they were

What are people's impression of the updated gameplay 4.5.0??? I'm noticing more animations for keepers.. saves etc. looks like more animations are being ironed out. No upgrades to graphics though, turf etc.

The Live Update on 26/06/2025 will see changes to some of the following club's data. These data will be replaced by eFootball™ original designs.

what about those bvb speculations? is it really realistic for dortmund going back to konami (after they terminated their last contract 2 years earlier)

The last thing I want to do is defend Konami but why the absolute F*** do licenses matter at all when the game is just fantasy bullsh*t to begin with? Your team of Messi, Beckham and Kevin Keegan doesn't have legit Bayern kits? How could anybody deal with this lack of immersion? :LMAO:

Spot on, it’s all just a gimmick.

It’s frustrating as hell - at this point the licences they do pick up feel like pure acts of spite, like “Ha….you wanted to play as your favourite team in a game that actually has offline modes!!!? Think again….we’ll take everything until you play the way we want!”

These licenses give them access to their players, though.

Sociable Soccer 25 has a Fifpro licence and it has all the real player names and most of the team names and leagues too, and so far as I have seen they have all the proper kits as well. There are some anomalies like no real league names and some teams with dafty names here n there.

So, Konami can still use the proper player names (not necessarily the player likenesses though) and have a game full of decent leagues and teams, which with an edit mode can easily be changed.

Albeit, they would all default to their unlicensed names etc., for on-line matches.

They could still make a fairly comprehensive game without any licenses at all, but they dun want all us oldies (traditionalists) hogging the game indoors and playing by ourselves, so they probably carry on with the limited shit-show forever.

But not for Bundesliga Teams. Fifpro doesn't cover Bundesliga Teams since this clashes with DFL. If you look at Sociable Soccer none of the German teams has real player names.

So losing Bayern still is a big loss for Konami.

They can cover the top players through National Teams but it just shows more and more that a Master League will never happen since they give up on more and more licenses.

Yeah there's always something that gets in the way!

Football itself is very greedy too, FIFA has put an end to indy game developers, and the various leagues have joined in too. Football games in the 80's 90's and even in the first decade of the 2000's had about 10 - 30 different games to choose from, some of them were real crackers too, until the greed started and you couldn't make a game with real players, real kits, real leagues, real names etc... without shelling out £100,000's or even £millions to get the licensing, not going to happen with a small dev company with 10 or 20 employees.

This has caused a dearth of developers and gaming houses from having the willingness to invent and bring on games that are decent and an alternative to the fully licensed versions like EA and to a lesser extent Konami.

This in turn has driven game players away from the games, which is to the detriment of football itself, talk about shooting yourself in the foot!

This year, for the 30th anniversary, they will release an offline mode and a master league.

I don't need to talk about rumors, who it is, he himself is the most reliable. 😁

Id literally take a port of pes 6 with ps2 graphics for ps5 at this stage. I still chuckle at that messi video a few years ago when we all thought a new next gen version was soon upon us.

Has Konami ever worked on ML Mode or the EDIT options?

We've been waiting for updates since 2022. So far, nothing special except this FIFA Street-style arena. I would have liked it to be permanent, but it was there for a short time.

Without Bayern or the Allianz Arena, eFootball isn't for me.

100% agree with you!

The Demo, sorry, the Game is since the release dead.

I don't would and don't will waste my life time with such a bad thing.
