Saw an interesting video yesterday(well, some parts of it), it told the story about the present Konami President and his rise to power.

He became the leader of Konami around the time of the convoluted development of MGS V (and the fox engine). The guy came from the mobile division of Konami( he was a Vice President), and this is an important fact to the story.

You see, in the mobile division of Konami there was a game( a card game) that made one million dollars a day (you read it right) just on micro transactions.

So when the guy rises to power one of the first things he do his killing all AAA game development. Games like MGS cost millions to produce (as much as Hollywood movie productions really), and for him the profit is just not there. His experience in the mobile division tells him that those games are much more profitable and cheap to produce, and it’s because of this guy that Konami almost left completely to produce games on consoles.

The rest is history, and because of this new mindset as we all know Kojima left the company.

This is relevant, and it becomes much more given the new philosophy for PES( or better yet Efootball…still gives me shivers to call it that) we know today. To me it’s pretty obvious were the future of the series is gearing up to, I bet in a couple of years Efootball will be a exclusive mobile game.
It’s same mindset that turned Konami in the company that it is today, development of the game will be cheaper and more profitable trough micro transactions.

They can’t beat FIFA on consoles, but it seems on mobile devices they really have been a success.

i wonder how this Adam Bhatti dude is still alive.. every year i hear the same BS stories from him about how awesome the game is.. i remember when Pes 2014 released.. it was a similar disaster like efootball.. squads werent updated until i think November.. nightmares..
 
They didn't mentioned anything about the gameplay if will be included in the demo. Gameplay will be released today with the demo? Or comes later in a future update? :SS
 
You know what? I'm curious.
I don't expect anything, to be honest... But I'm just curious to see how it is on PC. Still I have a little, little hope.
 
The next 48 hours should be fun.. I’m ashamed to say I’m one of those people who slows down to look at car accidents..

But whatever happens I’ll be happy, there’s AEW tonight, pay day and FIFA on Friday, Far Cry next week and pornographic movies at the click of a button.

I think any medical help comes faster than patch for this game.
 
we just dont like eFootbal, wich seems to be a different sport. Our sport is football, plain and simple!

i totally forgot about the 5 min cap for offline play... man, no words here anymore... its just sad.
 
The more I look back at PES 2020 and 2021, the more I think they had a wonderful logo but they've thrown it away.
I mean, that 'e' that also served as an 'F' if you just considered the blue part... Genius. Just genius.
