Why dont people just make the kits the same with the in game edit mode.

Do sponsers make any difference?

Sponsors are on the real kits, so why wouldn't I want to recreate that ? Other than that, if the Umbro templates are as anonymous as they seem to be, that's even remotely accurate looking Everton, Sunderland, Wigan, Birmingham and West Ham out of the window to begin with.

The point is that the in game edit mode has FAR fewer options than any PES game on in the last 5 years, except PES6 on 360 (and PSP versions), which is just a poor effort on Konami's part. Those 12 should cover most styles, however, but there's far less variety than before, and you're totally at Konami's mercy regarding sleeves and shirt backs (I wonder if there's a template with Man U's back-stripe on it ?).

can u not edit 1 kit with the sponsors on and then overwrite it and take another picture for another strip. will the first kits sponsor still be there just an idea

From what's already been said above, there are 8 slots, if you overwrite any of the imported pictures (even after saving the OF), they are also removed from the kit(s) you've assigned it to.

I hope that's wrong, I don't yet have the game so I can't check.

What a joke this means that only 4 teams will have the proper kits (home and away) so that will be 3 premiership teams plus your ML. EA must be laughing their heads off

TRANSFERING PLAYERS, you dont need to use the 1in 1 out policy. to transfer go to the edit screen/ select teams/ register player and select the team u want, then at the top of the team line up is an 'ADD+' icon, u can then click this and select any player from any team u want to transfer into your team.

Indeed. But given that I've now found a complete lack of shirt unticking, glasses wearing and finger tape, the whole editing thing's still a bit crap, so I'm not going to bother updating the original post.

Still, the 3D modelling is good, even if the face import can be a sod to match colours with if you're not in natural light. And it doesn't like beards at all, if you import a face you can have facial hair too - another daft idea.
