If you'd like to sign up for the closed beta and provide feedback on the game (the most important bit), you have to register your interest this year (rather than simply signing up for the newsletters etc. and hoping for the best).
You can sign up for an EA Playtesting account here, and then select the FC27 closed beta test to fill in an additional survey (change the "en-gb" bit of the URL to match your region, if it doesn't change automatically in your browser):
