To be fair, I think they're trying to punish players who want to exploit the game by scoring a goal and then just passing it between defender and goalkeeper for the rest of the game. (You should be allowed to pass the ball around and hold possession if you want to; but with pass speed/accuracy being 100%, it becomes an exploit.)So they are changing rules of the game to enable ping-pong passes.

Honestly, I doubt that. I searched for your problem in various communities and didn't find any other reports of transfers not working correctly. The only thing I found was people trying to sign players with expiring contracts during the winter transfer window, but accidentally negotiating a free transfer in the next summer transfer window instead.Of course I did negotiate with the players and haven't forgotten anything. I'm old but not that old.
And I skipped to the next day, the only cutscene was a player coming back from a loan. It's just one of those many bugs in Career Mode that EA just doesn't care about.
One thing I realised is this game doesn’t even have the mini cut scenes for substitutions anymore. That’s so soulless.
They are still there? Did a substitution this morning in my Argentinian League save and it showed the cutscenesOne thing I realised is this game doesn’t even have the mini cut scenes for substitutions anymore. That’s so soulless.
I've not played this game enough to remember, I thought they were there in FUT but maybe I'm wrong. One thing I realised is this game doesn’t even have the mini cut scenes for substitutions anymore. That’s so soulless.
OK so I was remembering correctly.Did a substitution this morning in my Argentinian League save and it showed the cutscenes
BTW the game is free on the PSN this month (like always, 3 games).
I pay for PS+ to play online, I wouldn't have bought EA26, so I'm happy its included and not costing me any more money than I'm happy to pay for PS+ 👍It's not Free, because you are paying for subscription good money in every region for possibility just have temporary access to this "set of free games".
Technically then nothing is free. Buy one get one free, but you need to buy one first. Plus the cost of transport there. If they put something in your house for free, it's not free because you pay mortgage or rent. It's not Free, because you are paying for subscription good money in every region for possibility just have temporary access to this "set of free games".
Well everyone "free", you know what it mean, everyone knows it i through that explanations wasn't necessery. But you're right for PC gamers not familar with Console suscribtions by months or years needed a quick explanation. I think you don't get the good informations about how does it works :It's not Free, because you are paying for subscription good money in every region for possibility just have temporary access to this "set of free games".
To me i'm using more for reductions and games by months. I rarely plays online, often i don't got the level.Technically then nothing is free. Buy one get one free, but you need to buy one first. I guess it's free in the sense most people would have PS+ anyway, for online games
Rules and POV from players are quite different and more individual so they can do more special stuffs.
This is why it's always good to try and find someone your opinions broadly align with for reviews etc. Even back in the day, the gaming magazines and websites always had their own view of things and differed a fair bit in how they reviewed games. Finding the one which aligned with you was always important.Problem with reading impressions from these ePlayers is that not only is there vision for what a makes and enjoyable football game wildly different to what us sim players expect, even the ePlayers all have wildly subjective tastes.
This guy says in his tweet "The defender you control intercepts passes better if you read the pass, but it is not at the level I want. It is improved, but not enough IMO."
Not at the level HE wants, which could mean anything. Does he want it to be even more autmated and beneficial to him and not based on a variety of realistic and fair factors?
That's just an example that reading these views are pointless, eventually it will never be fast or assisted enough until EA keep patching the fucker every 5 days until it doesn't resemeble the product you agreed to buy at launch.
Imagine buying an music album online because it aligns with your tastes perfectly to the point you drop money on it and then every week, the artist keeps replacing the song with a faster and faster version in a different genre? "Well fuck you, it's our store, you're leasing our product and we can change it how we like when we like!"
Yes it's a very early version and these people don't want a simulation but an arcade game.Problem with reading impressions from these ePlayers is that not only is there vision for what a makes and enjoyable football game wildly different to what us sim players expect, even the ePlayers all have wildly subjective tastes.

There is Japan. Just with unlicensed kits but with the real players. It says in the article: EA Sports said the World’s Game features two non-licensed teams with authentic players (Egypt, Japan)FIFA World Cup coming to FC26..
Or shall I say The World's Game Cup.
48 fully licensed teams with update coming tomorrow and licensed kits coming on 4th June.
Like FM26 - There is no Japan - Wales have replaced Japan.

Considering the game has been out for eight months ... this proves they care and they're trying, IMO.
The gameplay isn't for me yet but I can't help hoping it will get better.
In year when GTA 6 is coming out ... some big brain at EA decided for FIFA to be open world and compete.I was reading a bit about the "Open World" thing and.. I doubt it'll be my cup of tea.
Walking around, going to shops, acquiring cars and real estate, dressing up an avatar.....
Looks like much-ado-about nothing.
Seems to me like a lot of superficial, materialistic "polish" dressed up as "soul".
I wouldnt be surprised if you can walk into a Nike store and purchase shoes for Alex Hunter. 🤷♂️
Hope it's not a pain to navigate, instead of a simple, straightforward menu.
Tailored to different tastes, I suppose.
The emphasis should be on gameplay and Career Mode, this just feels like soulless, flash in the pan, IMO.
Of course it is. (Posting it here just as a sort of "target" - when FC looks like this again, you won't have to play it to know it's good - it will be obvious.)I was reading a bit about the "Open World" thing and.. I doubt it'll be my cup of tea.
