EA Private Acquisition Deal Discussion

I hope we finally get a fully featured FIFA World Cup game then. All national teams, all WC stadiums+ lot for for qualification matches, all national teams, good gameplay and graphics.

Last WC game was 2014 wc and it didn't even get a next gen version. So last WC game was on x360 and ps3.

According to rumours, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund wants to buy EA. So let me get straight to my theory:

Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund gets everything in competitive sports and will buy EA. After buying EA, they will have a quick chat with their friend and FIFA President Infantino and buy the FIFA licence.

That way, they won't need to programme a new game, and Infantino will laugh at EA for not wanting to pay him licence fees.

Based on the already known name, it will be called FIFA 27 or EA FIFA FC 27.

I’m still convinced it’s only a matter of time before EA gets the FIFA licence back. So it’ll be EAFC 28 or FIFA 28.

No, the licensing of the main sports and federations will continue, and the partnership between EA and FIFA will therefore be strengthened, regardless of who is FIFA President.
 
I’m a little surprised they didn’t pull out of the deal yet, like they did with LIV. Apparently the trillion dollars in the PIF is running out quickly?

I reckon the deal (EA to PIF, followed by the deal with FIFA) has to be finalised first, and then it still needs to be programmed into the game. That’s why it’ll either be added later via an update or announced with a huge reveal in FC 28 (FIFA 28?).
 
So the Saudis and Jared Kushner have bought EA. From experience I was admittedly never that likely to play much EAFC27 but that game can f off now along with the rest of their catalogue.
Next Mass Effect was likely going to suck anyway I guess.

I think they need to do the deal now whilst Infantino is still in charge as he absolutely loves the Middle East.
He will give them a better deal than the next guy, as long as he gets his share in a brown envelope.

Yes with 32 groups of 4 and the top 4 from each group going into the knockouts.
Which then moves to a different continent for the round of 128.
