This thread is purely on gameplay not on options or menus i understand fifa 08 is way way better on that merit.
I think Fifa 08 has put a spell on us all
have been looking on here and pesfan last few days peoples opinions of pes2008, decided to give pes another chance played around with the resolution settings on my samsung tv with the wide camera view the gameplay is f**kin AWESOME!!, the view is so much better now simlar to the early pes's on the ps2.
after 4 hrs of no stop gaming on pes i put fifa 08 back in what a shock, gameplay wise pes its still miles behind, bearing in mind im just writing this purely on gameplay. the game engine on pes is far more playable and dare i say it is more realistic, example the pitch on fifa is way to small , the goalposts are way to small the players look like there filming return of the living dead,look at when the players come on and go of the pitch on fifa they are like zombiefied ducks
on pes they look so real,and even when playing on pes you instently now who you are controlling its so real,now that to me that is realistic.pes is by no means perfect but its much more fun to play.
i know theres being many a banter on here and pesfan which is the best ,but the facts are when it comes down to playing the gr8game of football pes is still way ahead imo.
before any replies with any banter saying im mad and so on,try one thing first give pes a chance, i truely thought fifa was better when i bought them both and left pes on the side for months but on the advice on others between the two forums ,i played pes non stop then went back to fifa what a shock fifa is no way near as good:nono:
Suppose the only way to really compare the two would be to set up two indentical screens that way the differences would stand out much more
