I was experiencing the kind of unresponsiveness that has been mentioned by a few people on this forum, while playing 2010 with a logitech rumblepad 2. I couldn't keep my players going straight. I would frequently turbo out of bounds. I would lose the ball a lot because the player on screen would pass later than i wanted to.
Then I switched to using an official ps2 dual shock through usb adapter and everything changed. They definitely added weight to the players but the control and responsiveness were back to what I expected.
Im not sure if its an issue with the pad or the game but using a PS2 pad works well. Also note that I used the rumblepad 2 with the 2009 demo and i felt it worked as well as the ps2 pad did so perhaps this is an issue konami needs to work out.
So for those of you experiencing responsiveness issues, try playing the game with a ps2 pad.
