I actually really liked the PES 2008 demo.
The PES 2009 demo has really been a let down. I couldn't believe how long it takes the ball to actually reach a player when you cross or do a long ball. It takes forever! And the player animations just look crap. I mean Ronaldo runs like a spaz. The shooting, omg, dont even get me started. What's this new tap shoot and watch the ball either skid along the ground feature, and then try hold for longer and watch it fly off out of the stadium feature.
The passing is terrible. You want your pass to go to one player, but he ends up passing the ball backwards or something ridiculous.
And the goalkeepers are still shite as ever, they cannot FUCKING CATCH, IM REALLY GETTING PISSED OFF WHILE WRITING THIS!! KONAMI ARE SUCH IDIOTS, ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY. THEY KNOW THAT THIS BULLSHIT KEEPER CANT STOP THE BALL RUBBISH IS HAPPENEING! The goalie spilt the ball 3 times from weak shots in one game i played. And the opposition scored from each opportuinity. The goalies cant parry either, they still parry anywhere and a player scores. Penalties have improved i must say. But the game play is shockingly slow. Its not that slow in real life, slow doesnt mean fucking make the ingame slow motion, it means make it so players cant bomb it through everyone. We dont want it to look like we are playing this game in slo-mo.
I hope stuff changes for the real game. And also, the new signing e.g. robinho, berbatov are in their proper clubs now.
I'm actualy really annoyed at the goalies, and at the super slowness. It's too slow, it spoils the whole fun. I hope all these "Champions League" mode and "Become a Legend" mode make up for this shit. It's just appauling from Konami, the selfish bastards, dont give a shit about the game, just about how much money they can get by fooling loyal customers to buy a game that is boring to play. I much like PES 2008 to this. I hope by the time the full game is out, my mind is changed.
