Im happy with the pad, im just abit annoyed to be honest mate i was hoping to have some good AI konami have had 3 years to improve the CPU and from what i can see jack has been done about it, the keepers get beating way to easy at the near post aswell its like they do not react.

I know mate, everyone has a hard time swallowing the AI in the NG versions, but it's no use, Konami likes to leave room for improvement. Why do you think it's called Pro Evolution Soccer? Unfortunately AI was not on this year's list for major improvements (well, GK's and defenders had a good rework, but still insufficient.)
I still believe that the best way to enjoy PES is face-to-face with a friend.
I haven't played online but there's always a problem with lag, disconnection, etc. and for this kind of game it's very frustrating to lose because of net problems.

Sure, some games you will win by that amount, but most you wont.

In my 3rd or fourth game I played out a 4-3 thriller, Real V Barca. But that doesn't mean the game is dead easy to score in or the defensive AI is really bad. It was just a one off (probably aided and abetted by the scripting AI).

If you feel you have wasted your Money their is always FIFA.
FIFA with its silky smooth animations
FIFA with its realistic movement around the field
FIFA with its sophisticated control system

Oh yes

and FIFA with AI that just loves throwing 1-1 situation into the game out of knowhere, which of course 9/10 times result in goals when the player opts to shoot with RB button.

PES has its faults, no question. But AI balance or it being too easy to socre isn't one of them. You my friend are just a whingy little git.

It acutally depends on the team you pick and your opponent as well. Master League, with a regular team is pretty challenging at times.

Yeah Mate, I hear what you are saying. I am a pretty crap player and found 2009 very very hard to create opportunities let alone score goals. Best result after a full season in 2009 was 2-1 on professional difficulty. Have played 6 games in 2010 on top player and have won them all 2-0, 6-0, 4-0, 5-1, 6-1. There is just way too much space to attack and you can easily run from the half way line into the box and score. Just no fun to score goals this way. Oh well....back to 2009. At least it is a challenge.

Yes, you get a lot of space to shoot from outside the box. Surely this is preferable to never getting any space to shoot and/or your players not being capable of performing thumping shots, but easily having the ability to dribble n pass around an entire defence 5-6 times until the 'sweet spot' opens up for yet another lame goal.

If you played PES2009 at a competitive level, in that you played the game in a way that maximised goal-output (I never really did, I laways played primarily to entertain myself), then you would be racking up rugby scores on that game. At some of the Glasgow PESrankings events I have seen scores of like 13-7 across a 10 minute game with most of the goals coming from sidefooted shots from improbably tight angles 3-4 yards away from goal. PES 2010 to me just does not seem to be like that, and even when the usual lamers do work out the cheapest route to goal, PES2010 offers very effective strategic counter measures.

PES 2010 has its faults, some of the m hugely aggravating (button lag, goalkeepers on LSD, etc) but it is also offering the most well balanced AI engine that any football game has ever offered (1-1 certain goal everytime FIFA just dont do it for me I am afraid).

Try adding 10 to the teamwork and 5 to the aggression and tenacity of the team you are playing against and play them again.

If you do that to all teams, the game is much more realistic. If most players have these stats in the 80's on a team, they will be hard to beat

i was winning too often on inter in ML top player difficulty/10min, so i restarted a new ML game with AC siena. it's so much more fun and challenging and i usually don't win by more than 1 goal

so stop complaining about winning too much when you're using teams like Real Madrid and Man Utd offline vs teams like Lens or Anderlecht

To all of you who are jerking off on fancy sponsor crappy bullshit teams and then complain how the game is too easy: go fuck yourself, or even better find someone to fuck.
If a player from fancy team (e.g. Barcelona) have a year salary bigger than a year budget of Red Star Belgrade then it would be stupid to expect nothing less than an easy victory.
But if you play as Red Star and beat Barcelona 5-0... That would be easy and stupid AI. Don`t get me wrong, i play pes since it was called ISS on PS1 and i think of myself as a fairly good player and i have very hard time to score a goal with Red Star when opposing team plays 4-5-1 with their team bus in front of goal.
So if someone of you superheroes can beat Barcelona with some crappy team at Nou Camp 5-0 then you are too good for this game and you should use your huge brain and brilliant talents to save the world, don`t bother with us mortals and our stupid easy games.
