Converting replays into streaming video for Youtube/dailymotion upload

I don't think it can be done "automatically". You should open the replays one by one and record them as you see them ingame. I'd suggest you to use Taksi but either GameCAm or Fraps would do the work..

This is the way I do it usually if you want to know all the process:

- Record the video with Taksi in real time as I see the replay ingame

- Edit the video with VirtualDub (just basic edition anyway) and save as avi

- Convert to mpeg with WinAvi

- Upload

Does anybody have good results recording match highlights using kitserver (Pes6) at the same time?

Why not upload the avi ?

Why not upload the avi ?
Uploading an uncompredsded avi takes longer I guess.. And then it will be converted to flv anyway so the quality in my opinion won't be kept even if the uploaded video is perfect..

But never bothered uploading an uncompressed avi so I don't know whether it will result in a better flv or not..

When I come back home during the lunch break I'll link you a video I uploaded on youtube, recorded with taksi, with kitserver on and with all tle LOD's set to maximum detail..
It looks kind of acceptable..

Stay tuned, in a couple of hours I'll be back to you ;)

as I promised:
YouTube - [PES6] Catania - ML United 1-1

It has been recorded onto a PC with a 4200+ X2, a GeForce 8600 GTS and 1GB of 400 MHz RAM.

There were no active tasks except PES6 with kitserver (with LOD's all maxed out and a res of 1680*1050) and taksi.

Here's the config I used for taksi (you may want to vary it depending on your system though):

Thanks a lot *aLe!! I'll try Taksi and tell how it went.

Hmm...can you tell me which codec are you using..I only got an acceptable (not perfect) result with the default MS-CRAM codec...which got me a 230 Mbs 20 second movie..so the file is too big (using 20 fps). Res: 1440x900.

My computer is a Core Due E8600 @ 3.33GHz 4.0GHz, 4GB Ram and a ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2.
Im using D3Doverider for it to work on Vista without the horizontal line on it..

Thanks!

Well, it's something that I didn't explain indeed..

I record the movie with taksi without any compression because the 0.50 version I'm using (it's the lighter one I found so I decided to stick with it even if the Taksi project evolved) allows just uncompressed avi..

Then I save as uncompressed avi also with virtualdub and encode it in mpeg format only with winavi, more or less with the default settings:

Thanks a lot, again aLe! Im getting close now..the only problem I seem to have is that it stuttered (sp?) when saving an whole set of highlights...it must have been because the file created was too big (1.5 GB)..have to try it again. Thanks! Uncompressed seems to work way better. I'll post a video later maybe.

I compress the avi with VirtualDub, you can select which codec and quality level you want...

Looks nice on youtube in HQ
