[Confirmed] Another year with no LAN.. Pes 2008...

Ok , there was a lot of news surrounding this thing , one of them was a confirmation from one of konami's representatives, he said there will be lan , that was on 25th of august ..

Now today , i received an email from one of the reviewers of the final game on PC , he said :

Hi there Nadeem

Seems there is no LAN function on the game. As soon as you click on Multiplayer it goes straight to the Internet!

Thats really disappointing Konami !!
 
How is this a bad thing?

Why would anyone want this?

There is no logical reason to want LAN in this game. Unless you dont intend to buy it and this removes your ability to play it online without buying it.

I play alot of games over Hamachi, that doesnt make me a pirate. Its simply more convienient sometimes rather than using the matchmaking service a game might provide.
 
Playing through hamachi cannot be described as piracy , it uses LAN , which is built into the games , and in many cases , it provides a whole different and less enjoyable experience than the Online one , which may include interactive leagues as in Fifa08/07

dude pirating has some advantages ... for Example Bulgaria is poor country and the games or the whole software are too expensive for us ... and thats why trackers were made ... and especially illegal version of some software ... you blame us because we dont have money and we have to do pirat versions

I dont have the Money for a Car or a House, so i dont try to steal it, or lets say a PS3, too expensive for me, but i never think about stealing it

Why would you want LAN for PES, Racing,Strategy and FPS fair enough.
LOL when you destroy your friends its good to see their faces.
 
Lan in pes 4 was great as i was member of a leauge which had its own launcher program so we could play games from that. without the need of going in to the crap (tbh) konami servers with loads of kids dropping out games, deliberately lagging and general idiots running there mouths as if they were hard behind there pc.

Nothing about being not wanting to buy the game. nearly everyone including myself had paid for the game.

Adriano imo you are not seeing the benefits of the lan feature so your very quick to dismiss it as being useful...Just because you have had no decent need for it doesn't mean it shouldn't be there.

Also you are being quite a two faced hypocrite about the whole matter because i can almost guarantee you edit your pes and do you realize you are when using kits that are not meant to be in the game you are using either a company's logo or whatever (TM) without there prior consent which funnily enough is also illegal?

So as in your own words you "stfu" and think about what you do before you bash someone else and talk down on them like your angel like!!

I am not condoning piracy in any way as in fymfifa's thinking because that is totally wrong not paying for the game but don't get all high and mighty with your posts when pretty much everyone on this site mods pes therefor is breaking some sort of law or eula or whatever.

Like i said i feel your attitude stinks and you should think before you go on a rant and think about what you do.

It's nothing to do with piracy, ffs. Think about it... College people can play against each other and those brainy programmer gits can make another launcher so it bypasses konami's AMAZING servers (Just like Pes 4).

THAT is why Lan is needed.
 
It's cool to give anice look to your opponent when you score a goal but lan parties are something very popular it's also very enjoyable, so shame on konami for not having LAN Play

Only if there´s a check or some Login thing for your CD Key, otherwise everybody could download the game and play it online through a launcher or hamatchi, but lets end this conversation.
 
I SAID I DONT HAVE ANY SOFTWARE STORES HERE !!!!!!!!!!
plus i cant just buy online , simply because we are not allowed to import anything !
 
Check post #11 , i said i dont have stores , i dont care if its expensive , i really love the game , and if we had stores here , i would have definitely bought it !
