Choosing controllers

hello there!
Fellas,i'm having a stupid trouble with PES2009 and i don't know,how to beat it..is the thing,by the way it only possible play a maximum of 4 players..supposed i have 3 gamepad,i connected all 3.the thing is i don't wanna play wit the 1st gamepad in controller 1..then,when i try to put it in middle,like in the other versions of PES,the gamepad wont go..but this thing of middle,works for the others gamepads in controller 2 and 3..so,does anyone knows how reverse this situation..since,there is only the "coach mode"..thx

You can`t "not use" controller 1... As I know, the first controller always plays (left or right), while the other three can be set in the middle position (beside left or right).

Maybe somebody knows any "walkarounds"?

Please if anybody knows a solution to this bug please tell. It bugs me since pes 2008.

yeah i also tried playing a league with my brother and some friends. We had to use one controller, very very typical of Konami with PES these days! Always stupid oversight!

Doesn't kitserver allow you to "disable controller check"? i believe it allows you to choose any side for all 4 controllers, regardless of the position (left,right,middle).

No, it only enables you (or your mate) to choose your opponent`s team when playing (like) Leagues, Cups, etc.
