You were the best team in the league by a long way, and fully deserved it. Jealous people always go on about you "buying" the league, but every one of the other big teams (except Arsenal who are saving for a new stadium) spent a lot money on high profile players last summer so they cant really begrudge you. At the end of the day Chelsea were, player for player, one of the best teams to grace the premiership in recent years, your manager is also one of the best up and coming managers in Europe so fair play to you, over the length of the season the best team has won, no doubt about it.
 
Money well spent by chelsea,its nice knowing the lengths chelsea had to go get first silverware in 50years. I keep saying if it werent for ranieri you guys wouldnt be where you are today so all this mourinho great stuff talk is a load of rubbbish coz only 5 players are actually his own and the rest was either already at chelsea or ranieri bought in himself.

But yeah it was great watching you guys buy the title it was classic stuff it was exciting and cutting edge chelsea had to work so hard for those billions iyt took only 2 years!!
 
Here is a question for all of the Chelsea bods and anyone who wants to put chip in with a view.

Would Chelsea have won the title this season had Ranieri still been in charge?

jealous, no. How many other teams spent over 200 million pounds?

I rest my case, they bought the league and all the trophies theyre gonna win, its teams like everton who deserve credit, this coming from a liverpool fan. btw i hope we stuff your money molesting arse's.

also congrats chelsea even though success is overshadowd by money claims,,, do a bit for world football sign some kids rather than superstars and support less fortunate teams

chelsea did buy the league mate, how much they spend? about 200 300 million? course they buy the league LOL!!! jose morinho had it easy.if he diddnt have the money chelsea wud not of won the league...

wenger still teh best manager, i mean he bought nobodies and made them superstarts, can morinho do that? nope, not with 200mill 2 spend, he can buy almost any player, watch arsenal take back teh crown again, we always do heheheh :)

How much did Houllier spend in his time at your club? £110 Million - don't you remember signings like Diouf, Biscan, Diao, Diarra, Cheyrou, Vignal, Traore, some of which are still at your club. You'd hardly say you'll have brought 4th place, when youve spent significantly more money than Bolton (a team full of Bosman signings) or Everton (record transfer (Beattie) is £8m).

I dont support Chelsea, dont really care who wins on Tuesday. I support a team in League One - could well be your local team in fact, so your holier-than-thou-I-support-Liverpool-who-havent-spent-as-much-as-Chelsea attitude cuts no ice as far as Im concerned.
 
Who cares if Chelsea bought the title. The point is that they won it and they'll be happy with it. I'm not even concerned about the future cuz Chelsea are only building themselves up for a huge fall like how Leeds fell. I mean even Man Utd could possibly get a Sugar Daddy" but theres a reason why fans are fighting takeovers.
Mourinho is a great manager and has almost won everything there is to offer at club level. Eventually he's gonna have a lack of motivation. The same with Abramovich. Roman is only playing with Chelsea. What if you win every competition next year? He aint gonna spend money forever and will eventually leave.
I was actually shocked when I read that Chelsea and Roman spend on average £1MILLION EVERY DAY!!! This is 100% true. Ever since Abarmovich has got here, he has spent over £680 million (including transfers, wages, etc) on Chelsea.
Imagine how screwed you are once Roman leaves.

So enjoy this while you can cuz it aint gonna last long. Once Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool, etc win the title, its gonna feel a whole lot better.

I am not a fan Nike kits.

I much preferred our adidas kits for Arsenal during the 90s to the current Nike kits particularly that hideous blue monstrosity of an away kit which has no place on an Arsenal uniform.
 
Congratulations to Chelsea, they deserved it all the way.
This title has more merits than most of the people think...allright they had loads of money, but tdid they bought galactico's??? No they didn't...they bought a non galactico from the galactico's and by doing this became strong and deliverd a fatal blow to the galactico's (all credit to Ranieri for Makelele).
What is more important for most of you (even the Arsenal and Man Utd fans, yes), is that the soul of this team is very British, Terry, Lampard, Duff (i know he's Irish), the new style Joe Cole, Wayne Bridge..
Let's not forget that meanwhile Chelsea also won the league cup and still has a chance to win the CL...
What Chelsea has to do know is build on this success because i still think that the fact they are dependent on Roman's money is not healthy...Chelsea has to become a successfull "brand". If anyone can do this it's Kenyon the true genius behind Man Utd's successes...
Give him five more years and hope that Roman won't get bored in that period and Chelsea will become a big club for a long time (otherwise they will be a second Leeds United).
But now i hope all Chelsea fans enjoy this and stay modest in triumph...congratulations!!!
 
Yeah gotta Second that Big Congrats to the rent boys, A well deservrd title this season, millions or not.I think Lamps has been exceptional this season, wonder how he'd do at a BIG club though?
 
i diddnt say chelsea would of NEVER 1 the title if it wasnt for the money, i said they would not win it so EASILY :), plus porto dont stand a chance in the premier league heheheh
 
Kevano, i can't believe how naive you are. I expect better from you. ;) You're a Liverpool fan, right? I suppose you're just frustrated, after all those years of Houllier spending big and getting no return. You must be dreaming if you think the other big clubs in Europe don't spend big, in order to be successful. Man Utd spent something like £68 milion on strikers alone. We've spent in 2 years what most other big clubs would spend in 3 to 4 years, so of course it looks like a blip on the graph. However, you will see spending decrease now, players being sold to accomodate players coming in. A 24 man squad will be the staple.

To answer CW's question, no, we wouldn't have one with Ranieri in charge. Mourinho is the reason why we didn't have a dip in form all season. Expect the same next season.
 
Wow, just reading through some of the other posts. Some of you guys are really quite bitter. The venom casually disquised in some of the remarks.... Imagine if we won it again next season. ;) :mryellow:
