Re: Chelsea FC thread

Hello boys and girls, my name is Sasa and I'm from Belgrade, Serbia
I'm big fan od Winning eleven&Chelsea and I need help...

I like to play 4-5-1 formation with Drogba as "target man", Lampard (OMF), Duff and Robben (L/RMF) and Makalele&Tiago (DMF) but Murinho play's 4-3-3 formation!

So, I don't know should I set (in 4-3-3) Duff and Robben as OMF or L/RFW? And should I set Lampard and Tiago (Jarosik) as CMF and Makalele as DMF or not...

Someone help?

P. S. Do you know where can I find info. about this things - strategy, formations and tactics that are related with Chelsea?

Thanx

Re: Chelsea FC thread

Go with a 4-3-3 (when all/most fit)

---------------------------Cech

----------------Gallas---------------Terry

---Ferreira----------------------------------------Bridge

---------------------------Makelele

---------------Tiago----------------------Lampard

-----Duff--------------------------------------------Robben

-----------------------------Drogba

Capatin = Terry
Vice Captain = Lampard
Penalty = Lampard
RCK = Robben/Duff
LCK = Lampard
FK = Lampard/Robben/Drogba/Duff

Typical Subs:

Cudicini
Carvalho
Johnsen
Jarosik
Smertin
Gudjohnsen
Kezman

Re: Chelsea FC thread

Thanx, but do you think should I set Duff and Robben as offensive forwards or offensive middfilders - OMF or L/RFW?

That's hard to answer.
Till now everything that happened to mourinho in chelseas happened in Porto.
Arrogance, yeah! Newspapers and rivals all said he was arrogant in the end all he got was red carpet from the media! :D

I'm a Porto fan, I like to see mourinho succeed, but sometimes I also wich chelsea would loose everygame so that he could come back! He is the best coach Porto had. In the 2 and half years at Porto he won 2 National League titles, 1 National Cup, 1 UEFA CUP, 1 National SuperCup, 1 Champions League. Lost only 1 European Supercup, and 1 National Cup.
Mourinho left is mark on the club. He hired almost half the team at Porto. Maniche being the most surprising of them all. He was in the Benfica reserves for 2 years. On a side note, when mourinho (briefly) coached Benfica Maniche was from the begining Captain and always on the starting lineup!

To answer you directly, all porto fans want mourinho so suceed since we all respect what he did at Porto and we are forever grateffull for those 2 fantastic years at the club.

I simply see the most brilliant manager ever! honest opinion. I never had that kind of opinion from any coach from the past.

:)

Tiago hasnt impressed me either.

Give time to him, he is very good, when he was in Benfica he was the "central pilar" with Petit in the pitch and he can go up to the game a score a lot of goals... so time will tell dude. ;)

Re: Chelsea FC thread

German defender Robert Huth is considering transfering to a club that will give him a starting position.

the 20 year old says that even though the chelsea boss was reluctant to let him go in the transfer window, he is keen on leaving stamford bridge this summer

Milan Come To Robben’s Aid
3/4/2005 12:41:00 PM
Chelsea winger Arjen Robben’s swift recovery from a broken foot has been aided by Milan’s medical team, it’s been revealed.
Roman Abramovich has a close relationship with the San Siro outfit, who allowed Robben to be treated by the head of their medical team, Jean Pierre Meersseman,

’’We were happy to help,’’ said Meersseman.

’’Abramovich knows Galliani (Milan vice-president) very well and the Russians are also on good terms with our Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi.

’’It’s unusual to help a rival, but it comes down to sportsmanship.

’’Competition is important but so is sportsmanship.’’

Robben is closing in on a return to action, although next week’s clash with Barcelona is likely to come too soon.

Wtf?

Re: Chelsea FC thread

Just imagine Stevie Gerrard did join us. We'd line up like this.

------Drogba------
-Robb--------Duff-
---Lamp---Gerr----
-------Mak--------
-Fer-Car-Ter-Gall-
------Cech--------

IMAGINE.

Re: Chelsea FC thread

Good to see a dedent ref is taking charge of the Barca game. It'll be P-L Collina. I have no problems with this guy, and full respect for him, because i know he's fair, and he doesn't care about big names/reputations etc. Watch and learn Frisk!

..still think we're going to lose though, what with the even newer injuries.

Glad to know Robben will be back on Tuesday game!!! If Robben can play, I still have a faith that we can win... and Kezman has keep scoring in the last two games, good job and keep going man.

Collina means a fair game.

I believe that chelsea will win it still. 2-1 result is not a bad result since an away goal could make a difference. Robben, if completely fit, should make quite a difference! awesome winger!

Re: Chelsea FC thread

Robben won't start, he'll play a small part. I really wouldn't want to risk him personally. He'll probs come on with 25 mins to go, if we need a goal. Otherwise, i would rather keep him for the Premiership games.

Re: Chelsea FC thread

What do we reckon then, Kezman and Gudjohnson up front, or the Duff, Cole, Gud trio? I agree Robben won't start, although he was phenomenal in his first game back from injury at the beginning of the season.

Re: Chelsea FC thread

Did anyone else see what Mourinho said about Barcelona? He basically said they're a team full of players who dive, this from a man who's side put on the worst show of diving ever to grace a European final - Earth to Jose...

He also said Robben wouldn't take any part in the game but he did the same with Duff in the first-leg. I hope Barcelona pump Chelsea, as Celtic are currently ranked above Chelsea in the European co-efficient table and Chelsea going out will mean a better chance of Celtic being seeded higher for next year's CL.

That and the fact Mourinho while always entertaining is a complete tosser.
