I can't install konami's patch. I got a "1628: Failed to complete installation" problem. Any clue?

Make sure the pro evo disc is in your cd/dvd drive when you install the patch , otherwise it wont install.

Yes. It's in disc already. But I'm using nocd exe to run the game and I deleted uninstall file. Could this be the reason?

After I reinstall the game and apply the patch. I got the following error message: "Error 1328. Error applying patch to file c:\Config.Msi\Pt7.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor". What the hell is it? What does this patch do, only update pes2008.exe or some other files?

same happened to me i had to uninstall the game then put it back on again for the patch to work,but got sick in the end and took the game back and got money back
