Buying players in Master League?

So, after playing a lot of BAL, I decided to go back to playing the Master League. I just picked the hardest difficulty for both gameplay and league and now I can't seem to obtain any players at all!

What are some tricks to buying players in Master League on the toughest league difficulty?

My team is Popularity D and I've come to the following conclusions:
-I can't get any players playing for a divison 1 team, period.
-I can't seem to buy or trade any players in division 2 that are in the same popularity as me or higher (meaning, basically, any player playing for a team) because I get rejected right away on that screen with the arrow.
-I can't seem to buy players that are in "Others" (even players with no popularity). I've tried restarting after negotiations over and over as a test and I can't manage to buy a player at all, even if I double their salary or something ridiculous like that.

I HAVE looked at the quick search for a list of players who are open to negotiations and they're all players that are WORST than the starting default players (Castolo, Minanda, etc).

The only thing I can do is get players on loans. This seems like the only thing I can do, but I need some help on actually buying DECENT players because I can't just use a team full of loans... :CONF:

I'm not even looking for a team of superstars! I'm just looking for decent players that can play. Any help would be appreciated!
 
Okay, one MAJOR BUG I found in Master League is that you can loan absolutely ANYONE. I mean ANYONE!!!

I realized that I was succeeding with a lot of players if I try to loan them, so on a test I tried to loan Messi and Eto'o and I got them both! First game after the negotiation period, Messi had 2 goals and Eto'o had 3... but I don't think I'll abuse this bug...

Still... I guess I can loan some good players and build a better popularity and such...
 
Really? I just finished up my negotiation window and I noticed that certain players had the loan option available, while others didn't have it. It didn't really seem to have any pattern to it, it just seemed completely random. I never loan players or loan them out, I only buy/sell. I tried to buy the GK Diego from Almeria and they refused all of my offers. I tried to trade Fabianski + 60000 points (the maximum allowable offer) and got rejected. And I'm playing on normal ML difficulty with high transfers.
 
You can only loan two players at a time I think, so that's why you can only ask for a loan from two players a week (or 1 or 0 if you already have guys on loan).

I don't know how yearly loans work though since I'm only in the first negotiation period.

Edit: Oh, and they have to be playing for a team that exists on your master league game. If they player is in "Others" as in, you can't trade a player for him, then you can't loan him either.
