Yeah they were the best games i have played in last night

nice short,sharp passing backwards and forwards and some very intelligent runs being made all over the pitch. It just goes to show that if you play the game right the CPU is very good, it was us all along making the CPU shit ;)

The last game i had was Me and Flawless' mates against Flawless and his other mate and we smashed them 5-1 :)

Was superb fun last night, really enjoyed it - maybe the night off helped!

The first couple of games when me and Becanes joined (what IS his name?! ;)) and it was 6 vs 3 were superb - absolute chaos at first with 6 voices etc, but we soon settled and it was really cool.

Played much better in CM with no 'any' - got lots of the ball and was involved much more - think it showed in my performances as I felt I played as well as everyone else.

The very last game (1am, cheers guys!) - was me Bitter and Coopz against Flawless' + Chums. As it was late, I had to shut up on the mic - good job as Coopz and Bitter talked the 90 minutes away and we ended up winning 2-0. I say, 'we', but I was 'any' and scored both goals whilst you two put the world to rights! :)

Good fun, catch you all online again soon.

Coopz, I took some pictures of the drive from Georgia to Florida. It was an overcast day though. If you want I can post a couple. I'll get some better ones when the sun is out.

Hope I'll be on tonight though. Was proper relaxed for the first time in months last night, so decideed to spend the evening with the missus watching House :)

Dunno what I am upto tonight lads. I am leaving my Southern home for a fortnight up at my parents house over Christmas around lunchtime.

I am taking my 360 though so I will be on when I aint out and about

i have mate, and used to play it back in the day, when it was the ultimate footy game

but i feel now we have more advanced graphics and gameplay, i don't feel the need to go back and play it, nor do i need to play paperboy anymore (most things that were great to me years ago, are pretty crap in reality now)


i can't even find the skill button, or change player, not to mention the bad AI ;)

it's probably the only game dags doesn't complain about the AI, probably because it hardly has one

says it all to me really :lmao:

Of all the 'classics' though, SWOS is pretty timeless - and ok, its nowhere near anything like the modern versions of footy, but it still plays a good kick around and the manager depth gives it something different to PES/FIFA.

That said, I'm still getting used to the lack of buttons again - keep hitting LB to swap to a new player! :)

Yea, it was the stuff of legends "scientists predict in the year 2047, computer AI will be at the level of 5 year old children"...

who would have thought that report on Tomorrow's World would be so off! (unless it knew about PES 2008)...

AI also goes to show you can complicate things too much then ;)

SWOS has basic AI but it gets the job done. The more you put into something, the more space for errors to creep in. FIFA has tons of AI, but that also means it has plenty of scope for crap too.

I think he is called Ben. I dunno if ill be on tonight men. The christmas quiz with jimmy carr is on channel 4 @ 10pm till 12ish. I may be on then if anyone is still awake!
