Anyone know if i should have DMZ enabled or disabled?
I think I have mine enabled.
It used to be enabled and i disabled it. I thought it was a firewall thing for gaming. Can't really notice a difference....
I think it's used in conjunction with a static IP. For example, I have a static IP on my 360 and PS3, so I use DMZ. I believe it makes sure all the ports are open for that static IP.
Yea, I could hear everyone too (e.g. Chris "I GOT THE BALL, THATS WHY IT WERENT A FOUL!" after he murdered 2 players at once)...

I use static IP too. I enabled it again for my 360 IP and made it permanent. Let's hope this makes things better.
enabling dmz will allow all traffic to pass through the router to the device specified in it
most routers will have a feature called upnp (universal plug and play) and will auto configure the ports on the device such as xbox360, without the need for you to do anything
dmz is useful for bypassing the built in firewall, only time you may notice it fixes a problem, is that you have a poor firewall which isn't doing it's job properly i.e either upnp is disabled or doesn't work or you have not specified any ports that the xbox360 uses for the xbox live service, then allowing all data to pass through to the device's ip via the dmz zone, can help. i would never recommend puting your pc's ip in there, as you are basically granting all access to your pc without any real protection
it is however ok for the xbox360, as not many people/hackers could bypass a network via the xbox360
it may help people who cannot get there NAT to an open state
but normally is not needed
That was me, and I definately got the ball before I touched any of your players! I cannot believe I have been tarred with the same brush as CW :nono:
 That's just CW's moany northern accent! Me, and Joe speak proper!

You may have to look elsewhere then :mryellow:i'd be nice to play with people that aren't invalids.
