You need to register, I've registered as soon as I saw the link but before you can log in you need a confirmation email, still haven't got it...

EDIT: Used a Gmail email address instead, and this is what I get when I try to get a key.

yea thats what i got. Plus heads up, there is a new firmware update 3.10 and is taking AGES to download!
 
USA codes are supposed to be working now anyway CB so you can try that one I pm'd to you.

You should be able to use it on your EU account. Best way to see if you're on EU servers is to join a friend.

Ah no problem. I would have farmed more codes to share out but the website cottoned on and put a block on IP's from getting more than 1 code. I got my other code from pre ordering at GAME and was lucky enough to get a code in the first batch they sent out.

It's AWESOME, I can't wait to get back on it - (Gf is watching I'm a celeb)

I don't think I'll be playing much of MW2 when this comes out, its so addictive. Playing with random folk who actually play as a team is lovely.
 
It's fecking awesome JM.

I had a brilliant round last night as an engineer with land mines. I kept using them on the main road that leads to the 2nd group of A & B. The other team were as thick as custard as they kept speeding down that road in a jeep right into my mines. Seeing the jeep explode and flip up into the air with parts and bodies flying off had me jumping around laughing... which is probably a little psychotic.

I also had a guy sniping at me when he was defending the A & B bombs after the bridge. He was stiid behind B and was stood in a doorway sniping at us as we ran across the bridge. So we all just ran across the bridge on the other side of the train out of his sight. He killed me twice though but then i spotted the berk was stood in the doorway and just out of the door were 2 explosive barrels. Sniper time for Kev.... I spawned, took aim and blew the son of a bitch and took the wall down taking out his cover. After that he wasn't a threat as everyone could see him stood there sniping and I kept spotting him and revealing his location....


OOOHHH and I love the spotting feature now. You actually get assist points for spotting an enemy that your team mates then kill. It actually works. It's a little fiddly having to look at them and press 'select' but it's awesome seeing someone sniping, spotting them and hearing your guy tell everyone else where he is. Then seeing your team mates blasting the crap out of him with rockets and tank shells.

The problem PS3 people will have come next year is MAG will be out around the same time as this.
 
Anyone else had all their weapon/gadgets unlocks disappear?
 
I haven't played today but yesterday everything was fine. I wonder if it's all been reset so it's all fair as the US servers launched late.

Would be typical if it was because of that as they never give a shit if the USA servers go up first and EU go live days or weeks later.
 
People have posted on the eu ps3 forums saying that all their stats have reset and that no ones stats are being recorded now. all unlocks have been reset as well.
 
Was really enjoying this just now, the teamwork is far better than on CoD and it is a really great game.

But then I got disconnected randomly and lost all the points in what was my best round so far - this is why I usually steer clear of the PS3, that kind of stuff just never happens to me on the Xbox 360, ever (although fair enough this is the US client that I've got). :( Lost a bit of motivation then, just dicked about and looked around for the remainder of the round.

Really good game though, much the same as the last one but I like the new graphics and the new maps. Lots of snipers but then I expect that with Battlefield, and it seems to be done in a more "fair" way than CoD. There always seems to be one aimed at you somewhere but then you can go and find them after they've killed you.

EDIT: But it's going to take a lot of practice. I'm only managing one kill before I die, and 10% of my kills so far have been an instance where I've died and the guy shooting me has died at the same time...

EDIT 2: Is ranking up disabled? If I get e.g. 2,000 points, it comes up to say that I "was" on -2,000, and "now" I'm up to 0...

dont forget CB this is a beta after all and the purpose is to eradicate any issues with the ps3 version. thats why the 360 never got a beta. because its fine and stable.

That's the code I got, key: -999

Where do I enter it, it doesnt look like a proper code.
 
Did anyone else find that team mates today had blue names and squad members had green?

I'm hoping it's a permanent change but I'm guessing it was just a glitch.
 
Yep Rad, I saw that as well. It's a nice touch being able to see who your squad mates are, especially when you can see e.g. someone's working on the snipers on the hill, somebody's guarding the gate with a tank and someone's on the missile launchers like we were this afternoon.

I don't think it's a glitch, most games have a similar system I think.

Oh no I mean the other day all your team had green names above their head and the enemy red. Today my side had blue names and the enemy red (with green highlighting squad members).
