I'm glad I avoided this game - seems like just another throwaway game that is fun for a month or two then forgotten about.

It is a good game

i just seem to be going off games in general atm, i think its because all that's coming out at present has already been done so it don't grab me

Saints Row 2 will hopefully though

Yup i know what you mean Coopz.

The only game i still play regularly now is rockband - everything else gets traded in after a month for something new. No idea why but it's almost as if games these days are just really lacking something to keep me coming back and im not sure what it is.

Online sides to games are great but after a month you end up playing with glitch/bug abusers or elitists so you're left with friend games - and if you're friends aren't into the game you're boned.

Still love the game, it's one of the best online FPS games around IMO. Just waiting for the lag to be fixed...

Sorry guys, but who in God's name do you get into this Conquest Mode. I have tried and tried to no end by going to Multiplayer-Custome Mode and I don't see any map that says Conquest Mode.

Can anyone please give me some tips?

You need to download it first :DD

I did the same thing.

I did, it was an automatic download update correct? I accepted it and installed it, however I don't see it in the menu. Unless of course, it's a separate download where I have to manually search, find, and download from the Marketplace. Which leads to a realization that perhaps I just answered my own questions.:-pp

I thought it was in the update aswell :LOL:

They STILL haven't fixed the bug where the screen goes black after using the recon missile that snipers have. The hud stays on but that's it.

wow my first game since the new mode came out and the game is broken - i was constantly having moments where everything would stop but i could still hear the sound around me as if i had lagged out... but without seeing any lag. Then id suddenly be dead and the game would work ok... id spawn ... run around for a bit then freeze up again until i die and then everything would be fine again.

What a pile of shit - im almost certainly going to trade this now and get whatever i can for it. Bugger... it was an awesome game as well until a few days ago.

Anyone know if goldrush is a laggy/broken or if its just the new mode?

Haven't been on BF for ages now, just gotten used to the same maps and same gameplay and I guess the novelty has worn off a bit.

I still have fun on this - I am finding less idiots on there now and actually having some really good games. I haven't had any lag problems for a while aswell :DD

I prefer Gold Rush to Conquest though.

This, Burnout Paradise, Euro 2008 Captain Your Country (bizarre that I've got back into that) and PES2008 on the PSP are getting hammered at the minute. And today I'm going to try and get LMA Manager 2007 on the cheap seeing as it's probably the last ever one.
