Just tried it, no change, same fucking ugly shitty grainy filter used on the graphics with no way to turn it off :(

There is a grain filter on it, same as in Mass Effect. You either notice it or you don't, it's supposed to mimick the effect of watching a movie at the cinema using a projector.

Or some of you should try googling "battlefield bad company grain filter", it's there, many people complain about it, most reviews mention it, I think it's you guys who don't see it who need to get your eyes checked :)

I am sure this Grain filter is to blame for my crap performances ;)) , I just don't like dieing, I spend all my time stealthily moving around and just getting 6-7 kills and maybe killed once or twice every other round, while some nutters run around getting 8-9 kills but 12-13 deaths but 2-300 points per round to my 100? I need to change my tactics...

Sorry lads but any bf2 fan would hate this and here's why:

the maps are too small for conquest also there should be more jeeps to get around quickly.

I must admit I'm a little disappointed with the update still not a classic like past BF games.
Running from flag to flag is not as much fun with so few a player, what it really needs is more vehicles bigger maps and 64 players like it was years ago.

And the usual people that don't know what to do, A server list would be just as good as private lobby's this way you could play on good servers with like minded people similar to how warhawk is set up and past BF games.

You can really tell this game is crippled to cater for the general console owning public, Little Johny 12. shame really!

any newcomers to bf series wold probably like it but seriously go play a bf2 game. system requirements are not that high now and if you do play that, i can bet u a shit load of money you wont be coming back to this crap bf bc game.

How do you get into Conquest mode?

The update happened and it reset.

But I go into multiplayer and there is nothing there to choose?!!!!

If I go Quick match it just goes straight to the Gold Crates. If I go to custom I only have the options of Ranked, difficulty and map.......nothing else.

So how do I get onto conquest???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got the Conquest mode and tried it. Buggy as anything I've ever seen in a game! Using a sniper is pointless due to the scope not moving properly (the sight stays in one place while you look around the inside of the gun without actually changing where you're aiming at), bullets from close-up aren't being acknowledged as hits, artifacts appearing when looking through a window and walking away (you still see the kit and the gun looking through the window) and the game lags and stutters like hell.

Rubbish update.

Don't you have to actively download it yourself on the 360?

I was holding out for conquest before getting back into this game but from what ive read it sounds pretty average. Goldrush is still fun but I'm now toying with the idea of trading the game in while i can get a good return on it. If only they'd have sorted out the bugs and annoyances before launch.

Yeah I downloaded it. Everybody was calling it an update etc and when I turned the game on the game had an automatic update - so I assumed that was for conquest :DD

But I went and downloaded it.

Only played it for a bit - I quite like it. A bit more manic which was good and it lasted quite a while. People said it was really quick but my game took ages!

I haven't played a game with conquest in it - so it's all new to me. So I really enjoyed it.

I will be keeping the game :DD

I got into 'Siren blood curse' and then 'soul calibur 4' - and then i had that moron attitude of mine where i know i want to play a game but theres an update coming for it so i dont want to play the old stuff... i want the new stuff.

It's like the month before the new fifa is out i wont be able to touch fifa 08 or euro 2008

Yep, I get like that too. Especially with Football Manager where I start to think "what's the point?" as I'll have to start again with FM 09 shortly anyway.

I'm there now with rockband - ive been wanting to create some more people but i have the feeling we cant carry designs and created people over so i dont want to 'waste my time' as it feels.

i have not touched this game in over aweek and that new update doesnt tempt me to get back in the battlefiled either. conquest mode with only 24 people? fuck that your having a laugh:LOL:
