How do you know what level you are on?

I have just passed the 20000 mark - does that mean I am level 20?

I can't see any other number to tell me?

20000 total score?

I'm on Total Score 35558 and im level 24

I'm sure it tells you what lebvel you are at in the unlock menu or stats part

Erm... i've not really been online for the past week but before that i had about an hour or 2 a day on the game. I'm usually support class and use a mix of tactics.. well i dont really use any tactics... i just play freelance and adapt to whatever the opposite team are doing.

I'll use the specialise class to take takes out super fast if we're being over run by those. demolitions to attack crates from a distance or run up close, throw my mines down and then blow them destroying the crate. I used to play a lot as a sniper but i found that i couldn't rely on my team mates to get the job done and id always end up miffed off that no one was taking outthat tank or blowing the wall up that's blocking our men.

Quick points - support class... heal a lot of people, kill as many men as you can - when defending hang around the crate and kill anyone who is planting for bonus defence points. On a good round id expect to get 300-500 points playing like this.

Are the PS3 servers screwy for anyone else? I've tried two games now and they're lagging to fuck. My character keeps floating backwards whenever I stop him moving, everything stuttering and my gun changes by itself it seems.

Erm.. ive sent you a friend invite but you've not accepted it - or you've not got it. You can avoid the dog tag lag by not using the knife yeah.

Check your messages - you'll have an invite - if its not there scroll to the bottom of your friends list.

open the message and then you'll have the option of accepting the friend

Getting a headset tomorrow for this, sick of hearing all the muffled stuff during the game, plus someone was asking me to jump in a jeep the other day, must of missed the first one or two invites as they shouted Oi, nick you deaf git get in mate... :LOL:

It's official Mo Fo's

On August 7th, Battlefield: Bad Company players worldwide will get to add the new Conquest mode that will be released as a free download for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Made famous by Battlefield 1942, Conquest mode pits players against each other in a fast paced battle to eliminate the opposing team's tickets. Players deplete their opponent's tickets by one point per kill and can cause their opponent's tickets to spiral downwards by capturing control points. Four maps that are currently available for online play in Gold Rush mode will be available to conquer with Conquest mode.
