Re: Battlefield : Bad Company

I can't seem to put the controller down with this game. I get the same addictive feeling playing this game as I did with the original PES series. Everything about this game is great in my opinion. I love the fact that as big as some maps are, you always find someone to kill. I've tried Rainbow 6: Vegas 2 online but just don't get that satisfaction and fun that I get from this game. I am patient and enjoy tactical games, but Rainbow 6: 2 online just takes too long to get into combat with someone else. It takes ages to find someone to kill and at times feels lifeless. The single player is a blast to play though.

Last night online, I noticed a Humvee coming down my alley. After careful timing, I jumped in front of it with my sniper rifle and with precision shot the driver and passenger through the windshield. It was great! this game sort of reminds me of GTA in that you can get pretty creative with kills and see different outcomes.

This game has definately taken my time away from other games I need to finish such as GTA, Rainbow 6: Vegas 2, and Condemned.

What a blast this game is!

Currently addicted to:

-BF:BC

Games I play with my kids in co-op mode:

-Lego Indiana Jones
-Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

Game's that need to be completed in single player mode:

-Rainbow 6: Vegas 2
-Condemned
-GTAIV

Happy gaming ladies!
;-)

Cav, Vodnik, Cobra and Black Eagle - MEC Tank

wtf are these if i have never seen em?

Re: Battlefield : Bad Company

The game is alright, I think I need to get use to playing online because I've been playing COD4 for the last few months, and playing it is very different.

One thing I really love though is, destroying buildings, however, killing people looks quite hard and I'm not the huggest fan of online YET.

At the moment though, I'm doing campaign mode, and I don't mind that as it's quite interesting.

Re: Battlefield : Bad Company

This shits on COD4.

It has alot more than COD4 - I think I like this better.

I was in a loft earlier and I just blew a hole in the roof and started taking people out - It was great fun!!

You can attack in so many ways and from so many directions - thats what I love about it. The maps seem to be a perfect size. Although I hate that shit where if you go out of the area it blows you up.

Also I have killed so many of my own team because they do not get highlighted straight away. So Now if there is an enemy in front of me - I take a couple of seconds to make sure Its not a member of my team. Which on the whole leads to me being killed!!!!

But I am really enjoying the game :DD

Re: Battlefield : Bad Company

Tried the BF demo again earlier, it's a decent game but it's not COD4 and I'd rate COD4 higher personally.

Re: Battlefield : Bad Company

I've ran into a few annoyances with this game but its still great stuff

-
Spawning in the air when you choose a sniper teammate who has just decided to use the air to ground missile.

Gangs of people picking the sniper class and then sitting miles away from the action forcing you to either spawn miles away from the action or miles away from the action

Randomly dying without any XXX killed KRadiation coming up (?)

Aiming at someone and then seeing a blue tag above their head, turning my back and then they kill me and then I'll see there blue tag was someone BEHIND the enemy guy I aimed towards.

-

I said someone else today but i cant remember now that this has ruined other fps now as i cant fire rockets into walls and be ok with them just turning black now. It's such a liberated feeling knowing you can just blow the wall blocking you off down and cut through a building rather than turning around and heading back the way you just came as its a dead end.

-

I'm starting to enjoy attacking a lot more now - i hated it in the demo but ive completely swapped around. Now i much prefer attacking as the support class and when I'm defending ill stick with the demolition class on the whole to lay the anti tank mines and blow shit up to help people get around and protect the crates.

Yeah i can see why a lot of players can't get into this game and why a lot still prefer COD4. The ranking/award system on this game is very basic compared to COD4s but then this does have vehicles and larger maps and destructive environments.

It'd kinda like 2 brands of chocolate that you like but you kinda prefer one over the other as it has caramel inside

You should get the main game - The other maps are fun. When you get a few more weapons and learn the different people (Assault, Recon etc) it gets much better.

The controls are pretty much the same as COD4 which is great.

I really liked COD4 - but to be honest BF just feels bigger and better. It feels alot more war like to me.

Re: Battlefield : Bad Company

Yeah I agree with above, it just needs some time to get use to because many of us have been playing COD for months now and BF is just a totally different game. But I love BF anyway, I just need to get use to the game play.

Re: Battlefield : Bad Company

I'm really quite undecided now. I played the demo a bit more and it is fun, i like the larger maps a lot too.

The decision is which game to have? I can sell COD4 and get BF, or keep COD4. Hence me posting the poll. Decisions ...

Re: Battlefield : Bad Company

How do you plant lots of C4?

I've heard lots of people say plant lots of C4 and then blow them up - But as soon as I plant 1 I get the trigger come up to detonate it?

So How do I do more than one?

Press :x: after placing C4 to deploy multiple charges.

Try reading the bloody book next tim Robert.

Re: Battlefield : Bad Company

After you throw some C4 doesn't it come up on the screen (press ? to detonate. Press ? for multiple charges)
