i see, but who are theese few? do they know buffon? How did they knew this? Did they ever have a chat with him?

honestly i don't know if he is a racist coz i never had the chance to talk to him, but as long as i know buffon (only by interviews) i don't think he's a racist.

and even if he was a racist....... what doees this has to do with football? Some of the greatest fottballers in history weren't exactly the most kind type of person....

do you think best didn't deserve the ballon d'or?
do u think zidane didn't deserve the ballon d'or?
do u think MARADONA didn't deserve the ballon d'or........ ehm actually he didn't get it..... but he truly deserved it ;)

Buffon racist ? I would like to see some consistent proof of that.

It's easy to make rumors sound like we want them to sound.

And by the way... keep your eyes open, next yeat you'll have the presidentielle in France.

Let's hope "Le Pen" 'll not be on 2nd round next year... like last time when Chirac has been voted by 82% to prevent an extrem-right politician to be president of France...

Not sure about Buffon being rascit but his favourite player and someone he looked up to was a Cameroon GK called Joseph-Antoine Bell.

As any european, i carry a legacy...... the world war II teached us how hate can degenerate. Even more: being an italian, i know pretty well what kind of horror nazism brought to europe (my granpa spent 2 years in Treblinka...... i'm sure u know what it is :( )

with my last statement i just meant to laugh about what people usually says about italians. There are a lot of stereotypes about us italians, and there are a lot of chauvinist people in europe ;)

finally, what i meant to say when i said that i find stupid do not support a football player because of his attitude or his policiticans ideals, was that we're still talking about a football player.

The article says that, when buffon were criticised because of the choice of that number, he replied that he chose that number just cause it looks like 4 guts.... so by choosing that number i meant to say that i has guts (what seems very silly to me... but is still better than being a nazi;) )

Actually i believe him for a simple reason. if u choose that number because of his "nazi meaning", then it means that u want the world to know wich are your "ideals"....... so why deny those ideals, why lying, when people just ask u why u chose that number? ;)

EDIT: btw mate, what Milanista said about the difference between nazism and fascism it's true. People use to think they're similar just because mussolini and hitler were on the same front in the WWII, but this is not correct. they're quite different..... both disgusting, but different. Fascism is not about antisemitism. Do u know that Mussolini was a socialist at first? do u know how many italians were brought in german lagers? I suggest u to make a research on google tipyng the name of Salvo D'acquisto. Or even make a research about what italian soldiers made in Cefalonia. Theese are just 2 examples of wich were the italians feelings about nazists.
And do u know were jewish people went to escape from the inquisition during the 13° century.... yes, here in italy.
Moreover fascism doesn't exist anymore in italy (apart 4 idiots like di canio), and the ideals of italian extreme right, today, are quite distant from fascism...... and this is told by a proud anti-fascist\ socialist ;)

Italian football is the most popular in my country (morocco) and your national team's shirt is weared by as much people than the moroccan shirt .

but the point is that still i don't think he is a nazi. i mean, u say that what he said doesn't means he's not a nazi...... and that's true. But i've experienced how theese idiots (nazists) usually are very proud of they're ideals, and they usually take every chance they have (interviews)to show clearly and straightly their opinions. they're tipical reply is "yes, i'm a nazi. What's wrong with it! U're attacking me, but u don't know anything about what u're talking about.... u don't know anything about what nazism really is, bla, bla, bla" and other bullshits like theese.

i mean, when theese people are attacked, they're use to reply aggressively, to defend their ideals, telling straight which are their opinions. They're not used to "hide" themselves behind metaphores (like having "guts").

moreover, how could a nazist idolise a black player, like cameroon's goalkeeper? I mean, here in italy we have such a great tradition of goalkeepers (cudicini's father, dino zoff, just to make two examples), but still today, when people asks buffon wich was the greatest goalkeeper, he talks about that cameroon player..... quite weird for a nazist, don't u think? ;)

I see your point mate , I've never had a chat with a nazi (and I don't think I'll have) so I know only their ideology not their type . to me it's very strange for a football player to be nazi , it's just not fitting for such an international game .
