Arsenal Thread

Life without Walcott and RVP is a reality Arsenal fans are already used to, I'm afraid. It's a real shame about Walcott though, as it apparently takes him longer to get back to that level of fitness. This could be his season, but now I'm not sure. These kind of injuries ruin it for him, because that type of player needs a good sequence.

It's frustrating but RvP proved yet again that he can't be counted on.He is immense talent but if you can't have a season without major injury it doesn't matter, I think Arsenal should seriously consider buying a proper replacement in the same mold as Robin.

Arshhavin WTF!!!! No worries , The rest did good I like seeing Jack get games. Diaby looked bad hope he`s not that injured. We have such a good pick of midfielders it`s unbelievable. fab made Vela look good I tell ya. Good day for us Spuds drew :)) n Barca lost at home by The Paraguayan Valdes :WORSHIP: It` a Beautiful Day! Song wat a cheeky goal

spurs lost cuz they are getting ready for their first CL game next week.

They are going to see how difficult it is to maintain top 4 and reach far in the CL season after season

Rosicky is playing really well too this season. Hopefully he can show us what he is made of and put all of his injury woes behind him.

I also liked that Rosicky pass and yes i hope he will stay injury free and play a great season. He has all the abilities to be a very, very good player, but has had loads of bad luck (injuries).

What a midfield Arsenal has now, if we think about it! Fab is definitely back on form! He was really jaw dropping. Both passes to Arshh and Vela were fantastic. I think Fab arguably has the most accurate pass in world football right now.

On a side note, what was that tackle on Diaby!! Pure blatant thuggery from Robinson. The ball was more for him (Robinson) but he completely ignored it and tried to break Abou's leg. People aren't talking too much about it because it wasn't as serious as with Ramsey/Eduardo. But the challenge itself was worse than Shawcrosse's IMO.

It was WAY worse than those. By pure luck Diaby's feet wasn't stuck on the ground so he could pull it off quickly.

You can see the actual footage at Arseblog, in yesterday's post.

More disgraceful than the tackle itself is the fact that pundits at Match of the Day and Sky didn't say a word about this tackle. Instead, they critised Diaby for having a go at Robinson after that. That's f*cking disgusting, the level to which both media and the FA protect the average English thug.
This is the kind of stuff that, if it was in a street match (without match bans and career implications) Diaby would've gotten up and broken his jaw.
