I really don't want to have players at the club that don't want to be here. So i would like him to go and us to get the money and replace him now.

So it will have to happen now or never (now I mean in the next week).

Arsenal don't have to sell him last minute. We don't need to sell him last minute and be in a position where our team is severely weakened and we can't replace him. So I would be very suprised if Arsene would do that.

We don't have to sell him at all that is the point. But i would rather have a Fab playing 60% of his ability because his head isn't right, than selling Fab last minute not replacing him and not having anybody of quality in that role.

At the end of the Day, Wenger has to make the right decision for Arsenal and selling Fab last minute just makes no sense at all.
 
The thing is bobby. you forgot to realize how barcelona have not even paid us for hleb and henry so what makes u think they will cough up 30m IN CASH let alone 50m.

Its like me buying your HD tv for half price now and i pay u the rest installments but before i finish paying you, i ask if i can now buy your Home theatre system too.

Would you do business with me even though i still have not paid u in full for your tv? i highly doubt it. Plus if i buy your home theatre system and u only have one, of course u may want a new one aint it to replace the one i want off you? how can u replace that if i offer a very low price?

Same situation here. barcelona need 50m in cash, not 49m but 50m in cash so we can use most if not all of it to buy a direct replacement world class playmaker and believe you me, for 50m we can afford almost anybody at that price tag.

What a c*nt Puyol is. Unbelievable!

At this point I would sell Cesc for the right price, regardless of who's bidding. Even if it's Man City. But not for £30M, that's ridiculous. Barcelona are jokers if this is really what they're offering.

Oh, and of course, if I was Wenger I'd strip Cesc off captaincy if he does stay this season. Don't get me wrong, he's been a great captain, but we have to prepare our next captain for when he leaves. No point leaving the armband with him when we know he can leave anytime.

It is crazy to think that they still haven't paid all that is owed on those two transfers. Money that is owed also, has late payment charges on them, because they haven't paid etc (I have read elsewhere)

There is even rumour that the sales of Overmars and Petit were still not paid in full. So alot of the money we were owed was performance related and we did not get some of it? This is all from people on forums though :PP so you don't know what is true 100%.

If it is true though, it is silly to think that Arsenal would sell Fab and get the money in installments, when they have a poor track record with paying us in the past?

I wonder if any of the Barcelona fans are worried about the 77miliion loss last year and the £125mill loan this year? this considering all of the success they have had in recent years aswell. Imagine if they have a bad season?!

Anyway, hopefully they do have enough money in the future, or poor old Fab will have to wait along time to go there?


On the basis of him being the captain. I would love to see him lift something as captain of Arsenal. But I do agree that having a captain that wants to leave the club is far from ideal, but who else would be captain? and I think it will just make the whole situation even more shit, if we took away his captaincy.
 
I wouldn`t worry too much the more barca players keeping quoting the more they reveal their fear. They must be shaken in their boot since Mourinho join RM. I woudn't get to excited by a fee of £50M anyway, I think he'll go next summer which will give Ramsey, Diaby and Wilshire a season to improve/recover to fill the void.

Nice finish on the counter. I watched the match and Spain was grea tin the first half but in the 2nd half the french made a more physical play and won on two counters. It's nice to see young players. I think a lot of the nerves, violence and stupidity just fades away when you see young people playing.

Just like those "kids" tournaments. Even if your club plays in them, it doesn't matter, they're just kids and you enjoy them no matter their shirt. And I end up enjoying those matches a lot more than most of the "professional guys".

Spain lost today but I was happy for all the players in the pitch, they tried their best and played fair.

I think Arsenal were in control for the most part fairly easy and were too relax missed way too many opportunity . That Randall miss a gift not once but twice lol must be a reason he`s been in the reserves for the past 10 yrs .

Good match jack is very close to getting the nod I think. Chamack seems to play very similar to Persie as a target man that goal was very technical. flappyanski doesn`t make his present known he really proves my point more than I care to express it. Milan gk was a beast he must`ve save 4 or 5 goals .

Woah! just the first game of a Friendly tournament. Don't think you can read too much into the performance. Especially with alot of players out.

Does the defensive coach teach the whole team to defend as a team? or does he just spend time with the defenders?

I still think we are always going to ship goals with the way we play and I would rather play the way we play. The goalkeeper is key, we need one that the players have faith in IMO.

Our new defender still needs time to gel into the team and also he might not be the first choice yet? It takes a while to get a good connection between the two center backs.
 
yeah, I would agree then even though your keeper was spot on. We missed a few players due to obvious reason I would like to see Song, Persie , Fab and Diaby they haven`t played in any preseason matches oops forgot Denilson. We have 2 more games before the season starts.

How many Milan players were absent besides Ronnie?
 
Thiago Silva and Pirlo are the only ones worth mentioning. Huntelaar,Inzaghi,and Ambrosini are the others. Amelia was supposed to be the no.1 keeper but Abbiati was a beast today.
