the 4-5-1 needs a tall strong stricker, in our 4-3-3 we have no box stricker, we have 3 quick technical strickers which interchange.
 
didn`t you see eboue receiving the cross on the wing? he looked more like a defender trying to control the ball instead of taking a crack at goal from 9 yards out. We really need to develop on that before Ade came in we hardly ever scored w/ Headers.

off topic I will love to see MUTD get banned as well that will give us a level playing field because Wenger banned us from the transfer market 2 seasons ago :LOL: and he won`t buy anyone soon either
 
Well the original question jonney was answering was 'who are Arsenal's current front 3?' and out of the all the players that have played there so far, jonney missed out the best of the lot.

We got Senderos and Silvestre the Cat as backup. (with the possibilty of Song moving out of his best position to fit in CB too).

Fingers crossed ain't the word thinking nothing happens to Gallas and Vermaelen.
 
He didnt dive, there was a bit of pulling and Rooney went for the shot but missed and the ref stupidly gave a penalty.
 
Well he didnt dive did he? The ref just made the complete decision. So the ref should be critized not Rooney, not many players would turn down a decision given in their favour even if it's incorrect.
 
Rooney was complaining because he thought the foul had been given against him. That was clear. He even had a little shocked look when it was ruled a penalty. He thought it had gone the other way! (as a decent ref would have given - didn't you all notice Rob Green's catch about 3 yards outside the area?)

I know it's the whole 'let's blame Rooney for Eduardo's sins' party, but seriously, some perspective! If you want a quality Rooney dive, go find the 50th unbeaten attempt...

Oh and does anyone else think Bendtner is actually going to turn out rather good in a few years?

TBH there will be alot of diving going on. its part of the game and eduardo IMO was singled out. uefa wont do anything for most diving incidents unless in involves a english side

Yes.

Been saying it for at least two years now. He scored 15 goals last season, is often played out of position and is 21 years old. The level of criticism he's had from his own fans is a joke. Not quite sure what more people want?
 
I'm a big fan of Bendtner now. I think he will be really good and I think he will show it this season.
