The only thing where going to miss from adebaoyor is our offside statistics. he diddnt score many goals last season and hardly made any impact in most of our games.

Our team will be fine if we just get that quality signing in midfield. Then our squad will not be weak at all.
 
Looking at it from a non Gooner point, have you improved from last season as a squad?
Do you think your a squad capable of winning the league title?

I know you have some big guns back but you have to hope they hit the ground running...

Getting rid of Adebayor is a big plus - he brought alot of people down I think.

We strengthened our defence and we now have a few defenders. with Senderos back.

our midfield just needs that one quality midfielder to play alongside Fabregas regularly. We have lots of decent cover in midfield, just not decent enough to play week in week out yet.

Strikers we have good options and if we buy this striker we are after (Can't remember his name at the moment) then we will be stronger up front. We will replace Adebayor for a hungry eager striker.

Rosicky back with Arshavin for the whole season. Van persie will be on form I reckon if he doesn't get injured.

I think we will be much stronger - but It all depends on the purchase of that quality midfielder. If we don't get that, then it could make a big difference.

That last point sums it up really. If Rosicky and Eduardo are up for it and injury free in the first few months then we could mount a challenge.

We've bought the centreback we all were asking for. He's a bit of an unknown quantity but as captain of Ajax he should at least have something about him. Defensively we look a bit crowded actually, I really wouldn't be surprised to see one of Sylvestre, Senderos, Gallas or even Toure leave before the end of August.

It's just that elusive central midfielder that has become a bit of a ball and chain, almost a cliché now. It seems we really were in for Melo but now he's gone I can't see Wenger going for a superstar in that position. Matuidi seems like a natural Wenger signing, wouldn't surprise me one little bit.

Ade HAS to be off now, whether it's Man City, Milan or wherever. If his relationship with the fans and manager was strained before it must be untenable now. It's still a massive shame in my book. For a couple of seasons he looked really up for it and perhaps like someone who could make himself a legend for the club, but we all know what happened and now I find the whole situation distasteful. Every time I read about the money involved it just makes me a little bit sick. Much of it is fabricated I'm sure but I just wish it was all over now. As I said, a real shame.
 
I think you should first investigate your physios, hope wenger did that in pre-season. Then go on to the signins. Arsenals real problem are the constant injuries that players come up and of course the lack of a solid DMF, but that constant flow of injuries is just impossible to sustain.
Yet arsene still as to proveto the fans that this team can win anything, because from what i saw last season, they are still too "green".

I think Arsenal will be strong next season if they can sign that CM. They've got enough quality but just need that final piece.
 
That's because your probably looking at all the big names. Wenger will probably sign someone no ones mentioned and probably a bit of a unknown to most people.

because atm we have: Clichy, A. Traore and Gibbs. all very very good left backs.
if it's matuidi, i'd expect a very good development.

SkySports reports Adebayor was at Colney this morning saying his goodbyes to team mates. fucker. Probably thought Barcelona were going to Swap Eto'o for him. lol

Reports also state we've offered cash plus Senderos to Fulham for Hangeland.

Traore needs more time imo

Ade h8 to see him go he had plenty to offer (Im stuck on 30 goal season though ) ...sometimes its the player not the club he had issues w/ Monaco,Togo and Arsenal. He will carry it to ManCity too! poor kid he`ll never learn to be content. Well ,I hope we can leave that 4-5-1 system We should play 4-4-2 or 4-1-3-2

Senderos is a reject no one wants him his baby face and lack of strength making strikers jizz when seeing his name on a squad is never inviting. Not sure if that is true we seem to be offering senderos to everyone maybe we should tag a label he`ll dress down in clown gear for footballer`s kid parties and children events for the Club.
 
They pointed out CL improvement he still doesn`t know the offside rules ,but its more like Ruud vs Ronaldo. Let Ade leave to allow bendtner to improve I`m sure this was for the best Ade lost his desire his next club will be Blk`burn or Sunderland imo

Good deal for you lot, You still have plenty of talent upfront with Van Persie, Eduardo, Bendtner and Vela. Even Walcott was saying he might play more central.
 
God im getting worried about Arsenal, so you need a DMF for like 1 year yet Arsene wants to wait and see if 3 months made Denilson better? Im starting to be worried about Wenger, cous i think he isn't thinking that well atm, and money now shouldn't be an issue, he got quite a lot from City.
I really hoped this was your year but not having that dmf to partership with Fab is really ruining it for me.
