he just needs to put his hands in his pocket, 2 or 3 world class players and I think Arsenal will be contending in all tournys again, dont give up hope lads

I don't think he's wrong for the job, some of his tactics suck to the point of being idiotic to most people and he is far too stubborn for his own good.
They have some poor players and some who turn up when they like, youth players are fine but the days of the real hunger is gone, any decent Prem youngster is a multi millionaire by the time they reach 20...

Concerning today's match we've seen that Drogba is a disgrace to football himself. Once again he was diving during the whole match and their 1st goal resulted of it.

We've seen also that twat Phil Dowd ruining yet another match for us (2 goals that shouldn't be).

A 4-1 hammering at home didn't reflect what actually happened today but it also makes you think...

I think Arsenal needs to change things around for next season and get rid of some players. Moneymayor thinks he got his pay raise to dive inside the penalty box and jog around the rest of the match. Diaby will never turn into a decent footballer. We're coping with a really shitty defence. And Fabianski is way below acceptable, he simply doesn't have what it takes. BTW where the hell was Almunia today?

Arsenal 1-4 Chelsea. What the f**k! At home too. I'd give Wenger one more season. I'd tell him to buy players in the summer or else his out. A striker, a Midfielder or two and a couple of centre backs. Good, Experienced, Strong pros. They don't have to be world beaters say like Rio Ferdinand, a Vidic type player is good, just solid enough to help bring on the younsters.

Fabregas is as old as me and i can't imagine bearing so much responsibility with the likes of Denilson and Diaby. He'll be gone after next season if this carrries on.

The golf between the squads is shocking. But our actual fit first team is just as good as any of theres and before we had the injuries to our defence, we were unbeaten in the league against the top 3.

We need to beef up our squad with at least 3 players - then we will have a great chance next season.

If Wenger doesn't buy good players and at least 3 and we have a dissapointing season - then I will start asking questions about Wenger and whether we need a new manager.

But I think he will beef up the squad and I think we will do well next season....lets wait and see! :DD

I've heard about that. But this doesn't mean he will buy good players. Silvestre is experienced, right? So you get the picture...

Although 4th place is secured I'm already very concerned about how Wenger is gonna buy in this summer and prepare the squad. Rumour has it that we are to play the likes of Benfica to qualify for the CL. I heard a commentator saying the rules for qualifying changed a bit and the 4th places in England, Spain, Italy and Germany won't have an easy ride as before. Is it really true?

Yes, no seeded teams anymore, we can play against all
teams who are on CL Qualify place. The worst teams we can
get are Valencia or Fiorentina,I think.
 
Yeah it would be terrible. Anyways this new rule suck doesn't it? Maybe Platini wants to see more of FC Cluj, Sparta Praha, Basel... WTF!
 
Why does that suck? Just because England/Spain/Italy have a stronger league why should they get a bye into the final tournament? These small clubs will always be small if they never get a slice of the action (ie the money) and the rich will just get richer. Maybe now finishing 4th will be less acceptable and teams will fight for 1st a bit more.

bit harsh there Jinz lol...players need to prove there worth ,but if a spot is guaranteed . How will they ever grow? I have a theory cream always rises to the top. No players growth will stump so put the best player in the spot. Time is valuable and costly...3th,4th again

I definitly think Senderos will come back and he doesn't play very much at Milan and we need him.
Kerrea Gilbert and Armand Traore come back, too but they aren't so needed players for the next season.
We need a defensive midfield player imo who can clear Fabregas of charge and maybe a striker but
Wenger said he will not buy a striker. Players which I want to see at Emirates are Gökhan Inler or
Mathieu Flamini come back. I still hope that Hleb will come back, too. A striker I would love to see is Tuncay.
 
just watched MD2, they were comparing defence and defensive midfield with Manchester Utd, the work ethic was a disgrace for your lot, strolling around. The Arsenal players should have been made to watch that every hour for two days.

imo I really feel Arsene will spend now, to see how Arshavin worked out he must realize. Ready made strengthen a squad and spending was well worth it having our best player coming in from a 2nd half season. And if the American buys up he won`t be interested in slow building he will demand results . I think the ownership might play a part it`s btw the American 28% vs Russia 24% shareholders 1st to reach 30% and controlling will open a new era all my opinion
 
i do hope senderos comes back. it has got to a point where a very average player like senderos has been missed in this arsenal side. he can be shit at times but has proven his a much better defender then silvesta thats for sure,

Senderos if im not mistaken, helped arsenal go into the champions league final a few years ago.

We need established players, no fucking babys in our side. we have enough of them already.

i doubt flamini will come back and Hleb can fuck right off. i dont want him in our side as he clearly doesn't want to play for arsenal and has slagged us off in a few occasions.

i think Henry should come back ;) teach Ade how to fucking show some heart and desire in a match even if things are not going your way :)

so far Ade has scored a whopping 62 goals in 137 appearances spanning 4 seasons now. Not only has Henry scored more, but he has played less games in his last season . Dont forget. those henry stats are based on his last 3 seasons whilst Ade's is based since he started playing for arsenal

Try again mate. a sulky Henry has more balls and heart then Ade

Im not saying Ade is anywhere near Henry's class...

Ade is a joke, the dive yesterday was appalling...

but alot of gooners were fed up of Henry towards the end....

* We have potential
* Silvestre plays as he has experience
* Fabianski is world class
* Buying players will not solve the problem
* Diaby is my Vieira/Bergkamp/Pires rolled into one (pffff)
* Adebayor is worth £80,000 a week
* Experience will not guaruntee sucess.

Arsene's tactical nous has always been suspect, but the past month has been a quagmire of shite.

We definitely need an overhaul. 2 CB's, 1 DMF and 1 Striker. The fat has to be cut off the bone, and there are too many players who make our squads who would NEVER make the other big 3.

Abou Diaby must be the bastard love child of Arsene. I have no other explanation as to why he plays week in week out. Our central defence has been shite since Campbell and Keown parted. Apart form the season we had a makeshift back four of Eboue/Toure/Senderos/Flamini, we've been ripped to shreds.

Our Medical department is a fucking joke. No more to add.

It's testimony that we're stuck between a rock and a hard place. Not close to the top 3, (just) better than the other 15. But letting in 12 goals against our so called rivals just shows why we're not there.

I could go on for ages, but i'm fucking sick to my stomach at the moment at certain mercenaries we have playing, our JOKE of a defence, and Wengers tactical bullshit with the squad.

We're not Holland of 1974 - this is not total football. Just get the basics right first.
