The 1995/96 team had an average age of 24 and despite this, managed to overturn Newcastle's 14 point Christmas lead, as well as win the FA Cup.

Well i dont have to remind you on who and how many we have lost this season so far but i just want to gather peoples honest opinions. do you see us winning the title now? what is needed to win the title?

should Wenger go? is wenger to blame? could a new manager be the answer to all our problems?

personaly i feel that where not out of the title race. manu lost 5 games and drawn 6 last season. where halfway through that statistics but the worrying thing is that we are only in november.

the more points we drop, the more pressure it is for us to win the title. the way i see it, is that we need to beat the top 3 teams and go on at least a 20 match winning streak starting from now. if we manage to do that, we will be top of near enough top come the last 10+ games and thats where we need to be in order to win the league.

Our sqaud is very thin. without some key players we are average at best. we need to bring in alot of new players this january. 2 cb's and 2 DM. why 2 of each positon? for backup purposes and squad rotating. a succesful team is one that provides alot of depth and class in their team. while we have class in our team, we dont have depth. the likes of fab, ade, walcott etc cannot play every single game.

take a look at MANU, up front alone they have 3 YES 3 world class strikers while we only have two. These are tough times for arsenal but i have a feeling we may just win the title. dont ask me why but i just have a feeling that we will. everything looks stacked up againts us but its not over till teh fat lady sings

I dont know somehow, i still think we might have some hopes against United match. The players might get motivated n stuff. If we win it, we'll get the spirit to fight back, but if we lose, then for sure, players will be demoralised and premiership will be over for us.

I'm really worried about going down to Emirates on Saturday. It's almost the perfect fixture for you guys - very low expecations! Who'd of ever guessed that...for once you shouldn't need any motivation other than the occasion.

I can't work out why everyone is writing off Arsenal. They're 6 points back in the FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER! There's a lot of football left to be played, and lots of points will be dropped. I mean, they're one point below United and there's a lot of people still talking about them being champions. (ignoring game in hand). You just have to look at how they played last year for the first 5 months of the season to see that there is a very good team there, just needs to click.

This weekend should be a good test for both teams. United need to show that they can perform for two halves against a quality side and Arsenal need to show they can compete. Think a draw is on the cards...and probably a good result for both teams.

a big big test for the defense against United... if you could keep at bay rooney-cro-ronaldo and adequately used tevez!! I guess you guys will be filled with confidence!! But as IceMan_Bergkamp said depends on which Arsenal turns up!!

Arsenal will play this game like a finals game.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. From United's point of view a draw would be a reasonable result, but for you guys a loss would be really damaging. Then again if Wenger is doign his usual 'Our entire first eleven is not fit' then they all play you might be alright :)

Did you appeal RVP's red? It worked for Terry!

Thats Chelsea, things work for them, not for us. Anyways, Adebayor, Gallas and Walcott wont be there for Fenerbahce.

But there is a good news, Walcott and Gallas are returning for United match. Hopefully even Adebayor does!

Cant risk putting Fabianski for United match atleast. I would still want Almunia to play. Dont worry guys, Players will be quite motivated to play on Saturday. They will perform well. The only thing i'm worried is If we lose, what will happen to their morales.

Yup - 1245.

Great time for me. It will be a 9.45pm kick off so I can have a decent sleep for a change.

I can see a draw myself. Whenever you lot are under strength, you play well against us. I remember a few years ago at Olr Trafford it was a similar situation and you played us off the park.

We are completely down to Barebones now!!! There is hardly anyone left to play!! Can we still make it on Saturday??
My dog is on his deathbed now!! Come on Arsenal, let this one be for him!!!

I think Diaby is going to have a big game. If he sits just in behind Bendtner United are crap at picking that kind of player up, particularly if our full backs are feeling like getting up the pitch. and with Denilson/Fabregas' abilities to pick a pass, I can absolutely see him scoring.

In theory this should be a high scoring affair actually, given the defensive injuries of Arsenal. I hope there's a good ref that isn't card happy, or else it could well turn into a bad-tempered card-fest. United could really, really use Hargreaves and Scholes for this one.
