Arsenal Thread

well a great day for us with Spurs and Chelsea drawing and the two manchester clubs losing....and us winning of course.

Swansea played well as I expected, we upped our game in the second half for a spell to get the goals, but I just don't understand why we can't play like that consistently through games.

I can't complain too much, but against the bigger teams it will be tough to win games unless we play well throughout the game.

Anyway, we won when we clicked it was like watching the old Arsenal, the lead up to both goals was nice to see and the team is really looking like a team which is the biggest thing.

Lets hope we keep this run going with a positive result against Napoli.

Top of the league.

Im over da moon to grind out this result. All these injuries and having a reserve player scoring :BOP: Wenger instilling belief !

TOP of the table and separating some distance :))

Crazy how a month can change a club and it's fans view, arsenal on a great little run and managed to grind out against swansea, more of this spirit and arsenal may have to get the duster out to make way for an over due trophy.

Bebo is making me laugh going into all of the other threads and boasting. You do know when it all goes wrong for us they will all be in here laughing?

Hopefully it doesnt all go wrong of course........but this is Arsenal ;))

Chill the fuck out motherfuckers!

We're top of the league but there's plenty of time for cock ups.
However, seeing Villa beat Man Citeh suddenly makes us feel less bad about losing to them in the opening match.

Aaron Ramsey is on fire and he should be kept playing in this position, whatever Wenger told him to do, it's working.
I'm convinced someone always ends up sacrificed in these modern systems implemented by Wenger. Yesterday it was Wilshere, stuck at left wing it seems. Although he drifted toward the middle very often.

Özil didn't play well at all. Let's hope he picks it up and gets back to his usual assists rate :D
Giroud likewise, not scoring for 2 games in a row, wagwan rudeboy?!?!? :P

Overall, congratulations to everybody. Gnabry did extremely well, Ramsey MOTM, Flamini absolutely phenomenal for us protecting our defence, and top marks for our CB pairing Mertescielny.

Let's keep it up lads, if we can do well against the big dogs, we can shut some mouths and have a shout at the title!

Mate! its been 7 looong years. If, we win anything....Im going after everyone!

They are very big ifs at the moment......but definitely dont think so. If he does it for a few seasons in a row then maybe, you never know. Bale has been one of the top forwards/attacking winger type player(whatever you want to call him) players in the prem for at least two seasons.

Ramsey will stop scoring and he will hopefully still play really well, but I doubt a player in his position will go for that much no matter how well he plays.

The clear difference, other than the obvious visual, technical and positional, between Ramsey and Bale is that Bale scored a bunch of match winning goals and he created many/most of them for himself out of nothing. That makes him worth the price tag if anyone is willing to pay...

Ramsey is a great player, good old solid, hard working midfielder. Not particularly spectacular but clearly effective.

Ramsey has something most don`t a manager w/ patients. That`s the difference in a nut shell, most players would of been shipped out before they could reach any sort of potential.

Much can be said about Harry Redknapp, but he has nurtured some fine young players over the years and he has utterly destroyed careers.

With Bale, Redknapp showed patience and wisdom just as he did with Lampard at West Ham.

We`re going back and fourth here: Let just say you need a combination of both Club(patience) & gaffe(patience):SMUG:. Mou had a dig at AVB how Redknapp made it to the CL once and twice allegedly :) .

Mourinho is a tool, let's face it.
And no one will be selling Aaron Ramsey - that was just a joke, for crying out loud!

If we did this every week, Ramsey would be indeed worth £100m right now. 8 goals so far this season, and a handful of man of the match performances.
Bale and Ronaldo, on the other hand, looked like £5m players based on yesterday's pathetic showing.

Yep I am looking forward to it, If we can get a win from this, my expectation meter will go up a little bit more of what we can achieve this season.

Even at home it is going to be very tough.

I' m also looking forward to this match, can't see it because i go to a concert, but i have recorded it. I hope for a good match and that the best may win (but i'm slightly more of a fan for Napoli, sorry...).

This should be a great match, and a 'true' test of this Arsenal team.

I know they've been doing seriously well, but there has only really been the Spurs match that you'd expect Arsenal to struggle in. This is the first 'major' team other than Spurs they've played this year, so let's see what happens.

exactly

Ozil is a steal at 40 mil. with such sale you simply can´t respect Real Madrid as institution, sorry Madrid fans.

Pretty prettay good... Rosicky n Arteta are playing exceptional coming from injuries. Ramsey-Giroud-Özil are outstanding . Flamini has 5 lungs !
