lol They just had better luck and knew when to strike and create opportunities, ended up winning. Im just pissed that they only do this in Big games, against crappy teams (sry but its true) we play ubber crap.

no what it is, is that we dont get these sorts of luck againts teams like Hull etc.

their is one main difference between the avergae sides and the likes of chelsea, many etc. top teams play football and dont defend and sit back
 
If we don't beat Wigan at home next week, then I think I will kill myself....honestly (Not really honestly - just making a point ;)) )

I do think though with Fabregas as our captain - things will get better and better.
 
We were lucky, yeah i should agree!! But in the second half, we really played better. Clichy, Fabregas, Nasri, Denilson, all were outstanding, esp after 65 mins. Even Gallas and company defended well. It was a good win for us, and we needed it.

About the first goal of RVP, yes i agree it was offside. It was a bad decision by the referee, but then bad decisions have happened against Arsenal way too many times too. So thats what i said, we were lucky today.

and Yeah, one more most important thing, We did not play the "beautiful" football today at all!! atleast thats what i think!
 
where was toure?! not that i'm against djourou; i like a big, tall defender.
oh and: WOOO-HOOO!!! :D i just love RvP's shots. He just slams it in.
 
canny get rid o wenger ive called my rottweiler 'wenger':)) no seriously in my opinion hes produced the best football along wi barca in yrs (and not spending a crazy amount o doe) but still get pissed aff beating big teams then canny beat the stokes o the league

You don't need to type in a Scottish accent just because you speak it mate.

Anyways, I knew you'd win somehow. It always seems to be at its worst for you just before you play one of the big teams, and then low and behold you go out and beat them.

1st goal was offside, but makes up for the onside goal Mike Riley ruled out about 3 years ago at Highbury.

After the first goal, confidence was sky high, and you saw the players playing with their hearts on their sleeves. I didn't realise how much of a difference Adebayor makes. Great game all round, and special kudos for Denilson, who had a great game, and i'm his biggest critic.

Are you kidding, Denilson was far and away the least effective Arsenal player on the pitch. Thought he was terrible...

Good heart yesterday, don't know what it was but I thought Chelsea were awful. I think they had 1 shot on target in the match. Van Persie's finishes were class. Perhaps out of hte title race, but you can still sway it for someone else :) Please beat pool too, just for equality's sake!

When i saw Denilson playing on the right wing, i did expect the worse.

He has had some horrendous games this season - Man City, Fulham - but he did slightly better than those, and the last 20mins was up and down that wing.

I still do not think he is first team, but in a position not to his own, it thought he did quite well.

Thats not the point I am making, its got nothing to do with the title.

Our season has been so up and down, just look at our results. We lose to Stoke, then beat Utd then lose to Villa and City before beating Chelsea. Yesterday will mean nothing if we don't beat Wigan on Saturday.

Iceman I completely agree with this. Last 20 mins yesterday he was awesome, if only he could show that energy in other games when playing as CM!! I am not his biggest fan but thought he did well yesterday. Song was our worst player!

Awesome match yesterday, nearly everyone played well in the second half, even Song (and seeing Lampard trying to help him up from injury at the end and Song just not getting up was hilarious), but I did not rate Denilson all that much, lost possession loads, constantly muscled off the ball, made one terrible cross to no one and completely messed up Bendtner's beautiful pass (especially as RVP was waiting just to the left for a pass from Denilson to perhaps complete a hatrick)

Still was an awesome match.

But seriously if we don't beat Wigan it will be absurd, went to the emirates to see our kids destroy them 3-0 and if the first team can't do it then it will just be very very ridiculous!
 
at least for the non-british users, whom don't know the dialects. so we can better understand each other, m8. :P

anyway, the kids lost today...Bendtner is just awful, he's useless most of the time. Vela is amazing, has better control than RvP even.
still lacking good defenders with balls.

the kids, as the big team, lose they're concentration in important moments...

neither, both teams lose their way half way thru the game...

dummies and toys get thrown out of prams and both captains sit and sulk on the halfway line with the outcome being decided by a "stare-out"

I'm shocked by the decline of the gooners, maybe it has to get worse before it gets better...
 
And whos the united fan that was boasting on how great our youngsters are? :LOL:

what a terrible performance by the kids. and bendter? jesus, not only does he suck in the senior squad but also on the reserve squad!! sell him
