Arsenal Thread

Re: The ARSENAL Thread - Still top!

I painfully agree w/ Plan he`s nowhere near Arsenal standards especially awareness wise he don`t like to pass

Re: The ARSENAL Thread - Still top!

Surprised with the 11 you're going with today. We rested quite a few players and got a 4-0 result. I'm wondering what shape todays game will leave your squad in seeing how you have Everton in just 3 days.

Re: The ARSENAL Thread - Still top!

I invented a new song, forget "sack the ball"!!!

Pass the ball, pass the ball, pass the ball,

pass the ball, pass the ball, pass the ball,

pass the ball, pass the ball, pass the ball,

pass the ball...

PASS THE BALL

Yes Fabregas, I'm talking to you

Re: The ARSENAL Thread - Still top!

[dermot-style post]The cracks are now showing at Arsenal. Their poor away form continues to annoy Arsene Wenger's young players. A draw against a rubbish Newcastle, a loss against the clueless Middlesbrough and now ANOTHER draw against a Portsmouth side who haven't scored a goal at home in an age. That's 3 points from their last 3 away matches, surely potential champions are made of sterner stuff? To top it all, ex-Arsenal legend Sol Campbell was a rock at the back tonight. Manchester United, the champions, stay top.[/dermot-style post]

Sorry lads, couldn't resist (cast your minds back to Dermot's "Anelka" post when we lost to Bolton.) ;) :)

But the looking at the league positions, your draw against Pompey did a lot more for us than our loss did for you.

We drew with Pompey whilst you laughably lost to Bolton, you can't really compare the 2 results!

But to be fair you have to expect to lose at some point during a long hard league campaign

Dont forget you did lose to a Middlesbrough side that have had some piss poor moments this season and have been unlucky with options upfront, didnt they only have that chinese guy available at one point (forgot his name)

Also dont forget Bolton went to Allianz Arena and got a draw so the loss wasnt that laughable. Especially when you look at yourselfs recent away record against Bolton, you lot of all people should know that whatever happens at the Reebok it isnt going to be laughable because on their game Bolton are a hard team to face especially away

Maybe in seasons gone by when old walrus face was there but this season they have been shite.

I actually thought we would pull away from atleast Liverpool and Chelsea but now it seems like you'll go 2 clear with possibly Liverpool 3 behind and Chelsea 4, seems like this season will go all with all 4 in it:sad:

Fucking hell, with United losing, you'd think the guys would be up for it. What a pile of shit for the first 45mins. Not a single player has done anything worthy of note. Everton simply a class apart at the moment.

60th minute at the mo. EDUARDO!!!!! He must have read my last post in this thread, I think Wenger gave them a true bollocking at half time, that first 45 minutes was a disgrace...anyways, 60th min, 1-2, GET IN, COME ON ARSENAL!!!!!!
