Be a tough game for the goons tonite, it took them half an hour to get going at leeds if they do the same tonite then Everton might punish them, Im hoping Big Dunc plays!

With the pitch being small at goodison it should be pretty tight, Rooney could have em' in tears again :D

Yup it's always tough going to Goodison, so I would be quite happy with a point. Could easily see Bolton take all three points from Man Utd. :D

heard on sky news that Ferguson is doubtfall along with stubbs and graveson which is bad news for Everton.

on the transfer front apparantly were trying to flog Kanu to Celta Vigo

Yeah without Graveson it will be hard, he keeps things ticking over, he's not a bad player tbh.

Wengers been trying to flog Kanu for time, wasnt he linked with a move to spain in the summer??

Zaragozza and Celta were supposedly interested in the summer but nothing happened.I actually think we should keep him,hes been class in the away games in Europe this season when Dennis hasnt been able to travel

I agree, he's starting to play a lot better than he was and although he isn't scoring that many he's doing a job holding the ball up for others to do the scoring.

I know Kanu hasnt really done aswell as expected when he first arrived but I've always rated him, he might not be an automatic first teamer but a good player to have in your squad, s'pose it depends on whether he wants 1st team action or not.

Like you said with Bergkamp and Wiltord out injured getting rid now is silly.

I really don't think he's that fussed about 1st team action on a regular basis. I f he was he's had plenty of oppurtunites to go.

cant flog Kanu, he has 6 months left on his contract so can go on a bosman, but think he wants to stay.

Man I just love the sight of all these Arsenal avatars. :)

Yeah I hope we keep Kanu, becasue recently he's been performing pretty good like. With us having a chance of winning all four trophies, it would be silly to let him go. Although im sure Wenger's got something up his sleeve. ;)

Most likely keeping Kanu till the end of the season then letting him go on afree, Wiltord will go, Leaving Henry and possibly ETO first choice with Bergkamp (who will sign a new contract for a final year) and Alliadiere as back up.

Tonight's match will be a though one but I think we'll win 1-3. Bolton should be able to steal points from Man U.

And another Arsenal avatar for you, Zico ;)

Obviously I'd like you boys to stumble tonight, but I don't see it happening. Why does this thread say 90 pages, but isn't?

The supposed reason Kanu has stayed for so long is:

1) He's on 40K a week and no-one else would pay him that much if he left.
2) He is attempting to get a British passport so he can ship all his family over here. He needs to have applied his trade in the UK for 5 years to get this. His 5 years is up at the end of January.

He has been much improved though this season, I hope we offer him a new contract before the summer although not 40k a week!!

yeah i hope he stays, always good to bring on for something that bit different.

Yeah I would like to see him stay but definately not on 40K, i'd give him half that.

What about tonight then?

We need the points plus it will be great to get revenge for last season and keep the run going.

I am going for Everton 1 Arsenal 2. Henry and Pires.

That's exactly what I have on my BBC challenge lawro predictions and i'm not doing bad at the moment (15th nationally) so lets hope i've got another one right.

I think we've got an excellent chance of beating Everton tonight, especially with them having such a poor season.

I predict a 3-1 victory.

Thats why you should never predict the result in a thread like this. It always comes back to bite you in the ass

Well I aint gonna be predicting anything ever agian from now on. We just keep loosing goals late on in games, when before we would finish teams off big time.

p.s. How the fuck did Liverpool manage to beat Chelsea. ;)

You Gooners are always too cocky! Arsenal are drawing too many games - they need to be winning. Anyway, I ain`t complaining.

1. Manchester United

Yeah well Man Utd get it easy, because the other teams just lie down for them most of the time.

Anyway thats enough of the scum, this is an Arsenal thread.

It was obvious Kanu would score today, especially seeing as we've been speaking about him all day. Knew I should have put money on him scoring the first goal.
