I've read a lot of negativitiy surrounding the quality of the goalkeepers in the demo, but IMO they are perfect. The right balance has been met.

You often see keepers parry shots away and fumble shots. In previous pes games the keeper would catch nearly everything.

Been playing as Portugal a fair bit and my defensive line has been breached a lot, requiring me to bring out the keeper, he will actually go and slide in now and try and make himself big, rather than just standing there and letting the player walk past him.

Also like how the opposition shoot when your keeper isn't in his goal. Previous games they would just carry on like normal!

Keep the keepers how they are! \\:o/

Ok I was brazil v Turkey but 3 shots 1 powerful 1 good 1 average all 3 beat the keeper from outside the box. Tend to either slip under his body or as in one case I could see my shot going straight at his chest middle of his body, he moves arcoss the line of the shot moving his body to the side of it and sticks his arm out to parry the shot into the net..

I like the fact that shot come off the keeper but I think they couldn't include these spills and shot coming back off the keeper without as it were turning down the keepers.

Isn't it so that goalkeepers get worse when playing 5 minutes matches? I mean, I'm getting pretty normal scores (3-0 2-1 1-1 etc.), which I also get when playing 20 minutes (old pes6). That would suggest goalkeepers/defenders are worse at 5minutes, right?

i think that the demo doesnt rapresent the final gameplay (it have to be twiked a bit).....

@greenmachine: try to be turkey vs brazil on champion difficulty level, and you'll see....

remember, this is a 2month-old demo....

I was using REG the default setting in the demo but it was to easy to get shots past the keeper so I put it onto the top setting still won 4-0

Mikinet

I had read somewhere about it being 2 month old, where did you see this confirmed?
If it indeed is 2 months old, it is really good news, as the winningelevenblog people said the final version is much much better than the demo they tried at Leipzig ;)

..i think that this demo was first shown at GC in Lipsia (or maybe before), so is almost 2 month old...;)

I quite like the goalkeepers. They make a lot of silly spills that have lead to weak goals, but at the same time they make some excellent fingertip saves. There are some really nice animations too, which is more than can be said for the rest of the animation!!
