Anth's FC25 Gameplay Mod - NEW FREE VERSION RELEASE!!! (#TU21)!

665 mods, 127 pdf pages to read to know which one to pick! Oh my god, this is overwhelming and therefor not appealing to me
Which one do people prefer?
Funny, all those options are T H E reason for me to switch from PES to FC 25. It's unbelievable how Anth is able to create so many options and refinements that allow everyone to get the desired outcome!

Go with just the base mod first. Have some matches. If you see some gameplay behavior you wanna alter… through in some options. 1 or 2 maybe at a time and play some matches again to see how gameplay differentiates now.

That’s at least how I do it. But the base mod alone plays already very good.

Really impressive work!

However, as long as the goalkeeper always stays on the goal line, this game will be unplayable for me, as it completely removes the good feeling of scoring a goal. Has this been changed in recent versions of your patch?

Excuse the interruption, but how do I join the Anth's Discord server? I can't find the link. Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

V11 identity has potential but ai NEVER crosses, xflow is just fine there are a lot of croses

Completely untrue brother haha. I see them crossing heaps. Also, the crossing behaviour is the same in all standalones. There’s lots of variables, don’t conclude too quickly. Tactical sliders etc make a difference also.

Hey! I'd like to give some feedback and also wanted some suggestions. First of all, thank you for the incredible mod! It makes this game actually enjoyable. I really like the Natural X standalones, and have been trying them out in the Brazilian first division league via FCM mod. Players OVR vary approximately between high 60s-low 80s with a few outliers. Anyway, started building with Natural X+, my intention was to make the manager career mode with Santos as close to real football as possible, playing 7-9min halves. I've ended up with a good setup, but with a few problems: AI attacking was horrible, even the top teams weren't creating any chances in Legendary difficulty. Went back to reading the PDFs some more and found out that this was normal in slower standalones. Tried out the PDF suggestions: a more aggressive attack base, attacking boost options, more space options, and after opening up space it actually became easier to score, but AI wasn't menacing yet. So I went to Natural X standalone, and I'm still looking for the perfect balance for me. After scoring 5-1 against Flamengo, I've found out that the ingame simulation sliders could help me, because in the next match I messed with the sliders and almost got eliminated from Copa do Brasil against a second divison team, called Paysandu. After reducing CPU pass and shooting error, they suddenly became unstoppable (maybe match scripting helped AI out because it was the second leg). Decreased a little bit of the CPU pass and shooting error back and got a more balanced match against Vitoria, but felt like the CPU was still missing some attacking edge. I don't know if I should use attribute curve option to raise players ability or something like that, and I also don't know if I should be messing with the sliders but it might be the final step trying to solve the AI attack problem. Maybe i'll sprinkle in some defense difficulty as well because i haven't lost or tied a single match in the league yet. This is my current setup, really spent some time trying to fine tune my experience.

PS: Since you've asked in the Readme.txt: Injuries Option ends up making injuries happen too often! almost 1 serious injury per game, would be great if the frequency of simple injuries was reduced a little and serious injuries happened more rarely. Reduced them via sliders as well

Oh and by the way, CPU Sliders are in Tactical mode

You are aware you are using a lot of options on top of an already very good playable Natural X?! And I mean A LOT!!
Also, why did you alter the sliders running together with the mod?! Did you read the pdf‘s? 😳

Might be implied in my text, but altering the sliders was just a "last resort" type of thing, and this setup was built slowly trying to improve the AI.

You’re asking me to customise something exactly for your tastes. I can’t do this man, it’s why I have the options and the information there. You need to find what works best for YOUR experience. Me acknowledging that we all want to fine-tune things is exactly the reason they’re all there for you, but I can’t know that answer for everyone individually. It’s why I suggest stripping back, trying different standalone etc. I’ve covered many suggestions in the PDFs. Core Principles, Basics Explained and FAQs are absolutely extensive. The information in there can’t be condensed into a couple of sentences.

I haven’t said using slower standalone makes the AI ‘horrible’. I’ve explained that speed and aggression are linked. There’s a multitude of ways you can create balances to suit YOU, and I’ve provided ways you can get there throughout the PDFs. Once you start tinkering with sliders etc, you’re on your own at that point. Presenting the mod to only play one way is very inaccurate as it will vary greatly depending on the direction and balance you take it in.

I have people telling me the mod is extremely difficult and the CPU is brutal also. All you can do it try and find something to suit you. The Natural X standalones might not be for you and that’s fine too. You could try upping it to a different standalone, you could try open space up for example and then balance it via difficult defence preset (or individual defensive options) for example. So many ways you can adjust things.

You were right. As much as I enjoyed Natural X’s physics and pacing, it made balancing the difficulty really tough. I tried a bunch of different standalones, now I’m using the new IDENTITY standalone and CPU attacking feels right. The Wild Card worked great for me too. Thank you!

I’m on IDENTITY as well, only added like 4 minor options… so pretty basic. …and it plays well. 💪

What does the wildcard do for you?

What have you added to your identity setup? And with Wildcard I felt the gameplay was slower but it didn't affect AI attacking as much, pretty neat. Decided to stay on Identity bc I enjoy the bigger contrast between players it provides

Do they cross? For me normal V11 they attack well, they cross. On identity not... All settings i have the same

This is a misconception man. It really is, there’s no differences in these areas from one to the other. I see heaps of crossing in Identity.

Oh and goalnets are FIFERs🤣.

EDIT: I haven’t had a chance to play for a little while, but I’ve just fired it up now - V11 Identity standalone ONLY and the CPU have already played 3 crosses and I’m currently only 18 minutes into the first half!

EDIT 2: Make that 6 in 39 minutes!
