Anth James FC26 Gameplay Mod - FREE VERSION RELEASE!!! (#TU1.6.2)!

Popping back on EvoWeb after a long break just to say: wow, this mod is exceptional.

I always try the new FIFA/FC games for a few weeks when they come out, see the same age-old problems (which are of course by design, since that's how EA makes the game as accessible as possible) out of the box, and tune out for another year. Wasn't familiar with your work on the older games but gave the free mod a try, saw the changes immediately, and got the full version. Early verdict: I might finally be tempted to put PES 21 on the shelf and play a new football game.

I'm still experimenting with the different combinations (and I love how clearly the documentation explains exactly what each Standalone and Option does). Especially love that the XS standalones manage to bring a really measured feel to matches but without just slowing the speed of the entire game down, so it feels like the players are running through quicksand. I would still lean towards one of the "faster" ones like Dynamic as a preference, but the ability to switch between them is amazing. It reminds me of Tufkar's eSim mods for PES 2021, which are still my go-to despite all the great work other modders have done since.

Love the combination of the Ball Freedom + Dribbling Separation + Trap Errors options, it brings out almost the same level of ball "freedom" that PES does so well - you can feel that the ball and player are separate entities, leading to some nice unpredictable duels that feel like real matches. One area where PES has always struggled and FIFA (even the base game) is far ahead has been the handling of collisions and 50-50s. With this mod, the physicality factor is even more fun because the ball and the player in possession both move much more naturally. I've added the Easier Tackling and Faster Jockey options to make it a bit easier for myself as a newbie to the FIFA defending controls, very pleased with the initial results. It feels like a fluid, responsive football game that still requires you to work to score goals.

The advanced passing systems are great too, still figuring out which level to use along with manual/semi passing to lock in my long-term system. And I haven't even experimented with all of the positioning and movement options. Going to be a fun few days...

I never liked FIFA post FIFA 19 but I always like watching all your gameplay improvement videos on Youtube. Feels very satisfying, you know. You have managed to make the game look completely different than the default. If I ever purchase FC, it will only because of your mods. Keep up the good work.

with fluid flow standalone stamina of my players in 60th minute is very low what i need to do please??
 
mod feels absolutely PERFECT in quick game mode, it's a shame that the career mode gameplay is so different, even with the career mode stability test option it just doesn't feel the same, i don't know why EA does this...
 
Mod conflicts.
Balanced standalone and the midfield Plus mods together.


Cant put the standalone at number 1 while the midfield plus mod is added.

They both are either numbered 1 or 2 or the midfield Plus mod gets numbered 1 and the standalone 2 regardless of position in the mod manager which makes either mod redundent wherreever you place them.

Weird.

Seems the mod is broken.


Might just play normal and disregard this mod.

I read the pdfs but still more I am missing.

Fifa Mod Manager is not launching the game either.

Might uninstall the whole thing and reinstall efootball 21.

I think we're chatting via Patreon DMs. The mod isn't broken at all haha, I think you're just unfamiliar with the process of FC modding.

The conflicts as I've mentioned to you aren't an issue for the reasons I outlined in our conversation. You just need to read through the information provided and maybe look up how to use FIFA Mod Manager etc, I'm not sure which steps you're doing wrong but it absolutely works.
 
It is that Mod manager which seems to be an offshoot of frosty mod manager which never worked for me,error s galore,launch errors.

Anyway I requested a refund for Fc 26.

Only bought it for this mod and seeing that uses the fake Fifa mod manager and I can't play the mods I might as well get my money back on the game.

I still have the king,Efootball 21.

No I used Frosty manager which is the same as Fifa Mod manager and followed every tut for that but it refused to work.

I have nightmares over Frosty Mod manager lol.

Took 5 years from my life trying to get it to work.

Plus the fact that Ea are greedy and will try to stop mods on their end to try to make everyone play UT by patching modding out of the game.

I have no desire to play online.

If you're having issues with Frosty, you could ask @Paul-v or use FIFA Mod Manager. Many people are using FC modded and it's definitely working fine. Anyway, nothing to do with my mod.

I agree.

That Mod manager is awful.

I remember it from Frostys,that one stunk lol.

Got all sorts of errors and launch BS using Frostys and this one is an off shoot of it.

Nothing to do with your mod,looks like an awesome piece of work you have made.

I followed the PDF files.

It;'s the dam mod manager giving me the issues.

I went bald trying to get Frostys Mod manager to work with Madden.

Gave up.

Out of all the working Mod Managers out there,poor old Fc 26 players are consigned to the worst Mod Manager ever made lol.

Installed again.
Launched from Steam from the Fifa Mod Manager then just launches the EA app but the game does not start.

Then I try to start the game from within the EA app and it doesn't start.

This is Frostys Mod Manager all over again.

Argh.
 
I was only brought here by the mention from @Anth James but I'll say this anyway,

1. You need to be far less irritated and over dramatic for people to help you
2. You need to stop confusing different mod managers
3. Without any of these mod managers or tools, editing FIFA and then FC would have been impossible, at least show some gratitude
4. You should use FIFA Mod Manager (the latest one from the website) to play mods with FC, nothing else will work. If that is failing to launch, thats not a problem of Anth, that is a problem to take up with the tool dev.
5. Your problem is most likely due to your install paths and/or anti virus blocking the Anti Cheat bypass. I dont use FIFA Mod Manager but my own personal tool but I know 99.9% of people use FMM without any issues or if they do get issues, there are workarounds out there. Which is why I always recommend it.

I have the latest one.
Still does not launch.

Same exact problem I had with Frosty's Mod Manager which is similar to this one when I tried to mod Madden 20.

The game launches from Steam,,then the Steam version closes,the EA App opens,then the game does not launch even if I launch it from the EA App.

Without Fifa Mod Manager,the game launches fine.

I made an exception for the Fifa Mod Manager folder in Virus settings.

Still did not work.

Fifa Mod Manager is broken.

I have Subscribed to the Mod Manager creators on Patreon.

Hopefully they know how to fix this.

I had the exact problems when using Frosty's Mod Manager for Madden.

It just would not play ball whatever I tried.

Can we not do this in my thread anymore. FIFA Mod Manager works for literally thousands and thousands of people with no issues. I'm not sure which steps you are doing wrong, but there's clearly something. If you're having issues you need to try and speak to someone who can help solve your issue. This thread is just about my gameplay mod, let's move on.
