I listen to winamp whilst playing PES online, and just started a game to hear muffled speech - the guy was trying to talk to me
so I alt tabbed to windows, paused winamp and went back to PES to be greeted with a message telling me my computer speed has slowed - quit match; when I clicked OK it had logged me out of network mode
I know everyone moans about this game but Im seriously wondering if there is any point in playing online whatsoever.
EVERYONE picks barca. Even when you pick a small team first, 9 times out of ten they will pretend to look for a similar team and then just pick barca anyway. I wouldnt mind if they played FOOTBALL but you are then subjected to their players running the entire length of the pitch with no chance of being tackled followed by a cutback or a runaround
Its too laggy, but lag can be coped with. Teleporting cannot. Air shot after air shot cannot. Juddering framerate cannot. no vsync either? Was this written by 10 year olds?
Theres no communication - which to me is the entire point of playing an online game. Nobody chats, the ingame communication is an insult to any language its written in. "I was sleepy" FUCK OFF!
I went back to PES 6 the other day and had a superb skillful game of football with good goals and good laughs.
So im stuck in the same hole as everyone else here. PC games these days are only returnable if you have not opened the box. It makes me wish I had downloaded the fucking piece of shit for free because it would be wiped off my hard drive now and forgotten about. I wanted to like this game so much.
I feel betrayed by Konami because this does not meet their high standards for a "Pro Evolution" title. They have taken my money and delivered a substandard piece of shit that I dont think should even have released under the ISS brand.
