Always This Ref??

Nah, i always get the indian ref. It seems like the ref supervising the game is no longer a selectable option.

Its weird how the game has cut down on so many options. I can't designate where attackers are to run to anymore, and i can't assign which striker i want my defenders to mark closely.
 
I always have this crappy bold ref, who has a red or yellow card for every tackle I do but is so "lenient" with the CPU team....

Yeah, lot of things are gone. But try to check out formation settings carefully. Still can change direction of attackers -
[Set Formation -> edit -> RT / LT]
and still can make close marking -
[Set Formation -> Marking].

cheers, you made my life much easier. I can't think of any way Konami can justify reorganising the menus.
 
so is there nothing that we can do with the referee?

i have the bold fucker as well... he is way too strict.

50% of tackles are red cards, and the computer never gets a card.

There is so much wrong with this game it is insane... do you know if it is possible to get your money back from play.com?
 
I think its the new patch released by Konami, when you run the CD of the game and that blue screen comes out, there must be something that checks if your version is actualized one, follow the link that appears and you'll find the patch.
 
Ive patched my version and i still get the same ref. I think its something that needs modding/patched asap.
