It seems to be more propaganda against Al-Qaeda. IMO, it's nonsense, as Al-Qaeda would want to target the powers that they feel are oppressing or attacking Muslims around the world, such as Israel, the US and Britain. I don't see any sense in why they would want to target footballers. And anyway, I don't think Beckham, Henry or Rooney have done anything to 'provoke' Al-Qaeda.
