- Tries to make us feel guilty for being sceptical, because the only football games left on the market are poor or dubious

Evidence that leads me to the following theories:
- It’s the developer
- A friend or associate who will sooner or later ask for money for the project

Personally, I find that all those companies or indie developers who want to pass the entire business risk on to the customer (or outright scam them) are often untrustworthy. I am a customer; I pay once the product is on the market and has reached a standard of quality that is on a par with me as a paying customer.

Let’s hope for a game we’ll enjoy.
I’ll only pay once a good product is released.

Last time I probably did that was for FIFA16! 😉😂

FIFA 16 is really still good playable, even with old ones game mechanics.
And it's a game, that "give soccer emotions inside" during playing.

Given that the guy behind that project sounds australian and the username is „mate“, he didn‘t do a very good job hiding his identity.
Him reacting this way made me even more „suspicious“ of this project.

It's definitely easy for people to take advantage of how people don't know how difficult game development is, and a belief that solo Devs or extremely small teams can just make anything if they decide to and have a bit of money funneled to them.
